This shower pan will replace your old, cracking pan to complete your shower setup so you can rinse off mud, sand, and sweat after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're showering. When rinsing off the soap, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the shower pan and causing water damage to the wall.
This shower pan easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV shower pan or bathtub with a left-hand side drain hole setup. Mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the shower pan in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the shower pan so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of water hitting the pan floor or when you accidentally drop a bar of soap or shampoo bottle. Once the shower pan has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2" drain strainers.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Better Bath parchment RV shower pan with left hand drain. Now, if you're looking to replace or upgrade the shower pan in the bathroom of your RV or your camper this might be a good option for you to consider. This pan is going to fit the left-hand side drain setups and the three sided tile flange that you see here is going to help prevent water from seeping behind this pan and possibly damaging the wall of your bathroom in your RV or your camper. Now, this does come with a pre-installed half inch thick foam base that is going to provide support and also prevent the shower pan from cracking, and also it's going to help dampen sound such as if you would drop a bar soap or a bottle of shampoo on this floor, that foam is going to help dampen or cushion that sound while it's also giving this pan support. Now, this also features a textured, anti-slip floor and this is going to give you better traction while showering. And I realize that you probably can't see that texture too well, especially with this color from that angle, but this texture feels like it would just give you just enough of a grip or just enough traction to help you stand confidently on this shower pan, especially while it's wet.
It's very comfortable feeling, it's not overly rough or gritty or coarse. I think, like I said, it's just gonna give you that right amount of traction to help you stand comfortably and confidently while you are showering here, so that is a nice feature of this pan. This flat outer ledge is going to hold your soap, your shampoo, and other toiletries, so you can quickly grab them while showering. This is made in the USA of a durable, scratch resistant, ABS thermoplastic polymer construction, and it has this parchment finish, and this is lighter and gonna be more environmentally friendly than fiberglass. And that parchment color might not come across as true as I see it here in person, might not come across as true over camera, but this is kind of a beige color, a very light tan color.
So this is gonna be an easy bolt-on installation, I do wanna point out that hardware is not included with this, you're gonna be simply getting the pan. So if you don't have the compatible hardware already, that would be a separate purchase for you. This is IAPMO certified, and CSA compliant, and ASME certified. And I want to give you some overall measurements to help you make sure that this is going to fit in the bathroom of your RV or camper. So beginning with the external dimensions, the overall length, we are sitting right at 36 inches, and then looking at the overall width, we are sitting right at 24 inches, and then looking at the depth, this might be a little bit harder for you to see but let me see if I can line this up, we are sitting a little over five inches deep, I'm gonna say that's right at five and 1/8 inches deep.
And then looking at the interior, we are looking at, beginning with the length, looks like we're sitting pretty close to 32 inches long on the interior, and then looking at the width we are sitting right at 18 inches wide, and then the depth, I'm going to be measuring from the floor until where it kind of starts to flare out here a little bit, in regards to the depth, we're sitting right at four inches deep. Now that drain hole diameter is two inches, and the distance of the drain hole from the closest edge we are sitting right at four inches, it looks like. So again, this is in that parchment color, and if the measurements and the specs are just what you need, but you're not too crazy about this color, we do carry this in white as well, everything is identical, except for that color. As shower pans go this one was very good. Seems sturdy and was east to install. (Converted tub to shower for a little more foot room.) With the tub we had to step up about 18". Put a handle next to tub but still quite a big step-up. Replacing the tub with this shower cut the step up about a foot. Huge difference for us older folks.
The great thing about this purchase what the way the etrailer folks went out of their way to make things work. Initially I was sent the incorrect drain but the problem was quickly resolved. Even before me sending the wrong one back. Great job etrailer. That's why I like to deal with them. Thank you.
Had a tub in my RV that maybe a 3 years old might be able to fit in. The foot print at the bottom of the tub was next to nothing (just enough to turn around without falling. Decided to put a shower in instead. Much more room which us old folk need. Also the step-up into the tub was about 18". Had to put a handle on the wall to grab for balance getting into and out of the tub. The step up for the shower will be about 5 inches. Great difference. Haven't completed the project yet so no pics. The shower pan seems well made. They are all either a plastic or something on that order so nothing like an indoor fiberglass shower but light years ahead of the tub. Would recommend the switch if you are somewhat handy.
I am replacing the bathtub in my camper with a shower because after an injury my wife is no longer able to lift her leg high enough to get into the bathtub. I ordered a shower pan that was the same size as the bathtub. After removing the tub I discovered the shower pan I ordered would not work since the wall narrows towards the floor.
I called etrailer and spoke with Rob who was very helpful. He cancelled my order and replaced it with an order for a shower pan of the appropriate size. The shower pan that arrived a few days later is sturdy and it fits perfectly.
I must make some alterations to the plumbing of the camper to install the shower pan as low as possible. When this project is complete I will send a picture. Thanks!
The pan was an exact fit for me and that's what I was mainly concerned about. It is a bit on the thin side. One thing that I didn't expect and I'm still wondering about is the front doesn't come all the way down to the floor. It's 2" higher. So I'll have to get creative with that area.

The shower pan itself is in perfect condition, the purchase and shipping was here within 2 days and saved our project.
This took a while to find, its perfect for a Dodge Promaster shower due to the beams under the van. It looks a high quality item as well, very happy with this!
We changed our RV tub into a shower using this shower pan. It is a very small bathroom and gave us a lot more room for my tall husband. Worked out great and is sturdy.
We are over the moon with how fast the part got to our facility and the product came in perfect condition we will happily do orders with etrailer again in the future
This shower pan was exactly what I needed. I was having issues locating where to install a pan to my RAM Promaster van conversion. The central location of the drain, means that the drain exit misses the chassis box section. The ordering was easy and the delivery was as promised. It was even processed on the labor day holiday. I am very impressed and highly recommend using this company.
The pan looks good. However there are no instructions of any kind. Would be nice th have some. Your catalogue website is very hard to find things too. The service dep admitted web was difficult. I like doing business with Etrailer good quality products but need to have helpful sites rather than a challenge

I purchased the 24x46” right drain pan. I have installed it in a park unit which an rv with the wheels taken off. I tiled around 3 sides, properly sealed the joints and now it is looking and working well. Space was the limitation mostly with width, which is why I chose this pan

I bought this when I was looking for a fiberglass base. My thought was that plastic wouldn’t be strong enough to support me. After looking and looking for something that would fit, I finally decided to get this one. The measurements on the description gave me a great idea of the space I had to work with. I also got a flex curtain rod and faucet that went together perfectly with previous plumbing. The shower basin needs a base to be built which is easier than it sounds...Cut out the shape of the basin and support it with 2x4. After a years usage I can definitely say I’m impressed!
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the shower pan came without the cover for the front access panel. They sent us a replacement, and that one didn't have it either. After 2 months and numerous calls/e-mails, we finally got it sent to us directly from the manufacturer.
This product arrived on time and was used in upgrading our rv shower.
Arrived sooner than expected.
Better quality than another brand I had purchased.
