Hi everyone, it's Evie Angeline here at etrailer, and today, we are looking at our Prest-O-Fit RV outdoor rug kit, here at etrailer. This is a kit because not only do you get a rug, but you also get three different ways to mount that rug wherever you want outdoors. When you're out RVing, it's also great to take some time, park your RV, and enjoy nature. I'm here in my camp chair, and you can see how I'm using this rug. Just set it out outside your RV, that way you don't have to worry about rocks, mud or dirt underneath, but you have a nice flat surface to relax on. We sell this as a kit because not only do you get a rug, but you also get this canvas bag that comes with three different ways to mount it.

So some other rugs have mounting hardware that is separate. This comes with it, and it's also versatile, so you have semi-permanent to permanent solutions. Taking a feel of our heavy-duty outdoor turf, I can feel that it's actually pretty soft. Soft enough to walk on barefoot, or if you have a say, little puppy paws or your children want to go for a crawl outside, enjoy that fresh air, you won't have to worry about this being too scratchy. I've been sitting out here on the rug in the sun and it's really nice because it is UV-resistant compared to other rugs that are not UV-resistant.

They do get affected and can fade or crack and damage those rugs. That resistance helps it stay stronger for a longer period of time, but also helps because it's mold and mildew-resistant. So even if you get it wet, you won't have to worry as much about that. Looking underneath, you can see that the bottom has a really heavy-duty lining, a little more heavy-duty than, let's say, the weather-resistant version from Prest-O-Fit. This also has grooves which help adhere to the ground underneath and prevent slipping.

On the edges, you can see how they are folded in, and then sewed shut. This will help prevent fraying. Now, fraying will still happen over time, but having that hem there will keep it stronger for a longer period. Now, if you do get the rug dirty, maybe you spill your food, your drinks, get some mud on it, no worries, because what you can do is, you can just hose this off with some water and let it air dry. And when you are ready to pack up your camp and go, what you can do with the rug is, you can either fold it, I recommend having a second pair of hands.

Get your friend, your family to help you out with that 'cause it is a pretty large rug to fold, or you can just roll it up. Now, this does not come with a reusable bag, so just keep that in mind as you are preparing to store it. To install this using the rubber strap, have it where it's snapped on and the short end is facing the corner. Then you just put it onto the ground, lift that corner, get your stake and your washer, and hammer that down. There's also the exposed option with the long end of the strap facing out. You can have it exposed, have your washer and your stake, and then hammer that down. With your surface mate, you have a canvas bag. And inside the canvas bag are three different ways to mount your rug. So the first way is super quick and super easy. And this is the stake option, and it works on soft surfaces like dirt because then you can nail or mount it with these stakes. The next option is semi-permanent, and they do involve hook and loop fasteners. So this is semi-permanent, and you can take it off easily as well. The final option is to use fasteners. And these snap fasteners are your more permanent option. For the hook and loop fasteners, you have a white disc as well as a black disc. So underneath each corner is either a white or a black patch. So you will have an adhesive, so use an adhesive to adhere to your flat and hard surface, and that will help you mount your rug with a hook and loop fastener. The final way you can mount this is the permanent option. And that is permanent because you will be using a drill. So you will have these black discs, the ones without a hole in them. And they do have a point where you can tell that's where you should drill into. So follow that point, make your hole, and then you will have a permanent mounting spot.
