Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this B&B Polar White RV hatch for your sewer hose. This RV exterior storage hatch uses an unused space for your sewer hose, and this is going to accept up to a four-inch diameter hose with end fittings, and you'll attach a PVC pipe or flex hose at the collar mount to keep your hose stowed. Now, before we go any further, let me go ahead and just give you some measurements so you can be confident this is going to work for you. Let's begin with the overall or the outside dimensions first.
So as you can see there, looking at the width, we're sitting pretty close to 7 5/8 inches wide. Looking at the height from bottom to top, looks like we're sitting right at 6 1/2 inches tall, and then looking at the cutout dimensions, beginning with the width, looks like we're sitting right at about almost six inches, 5 7/8 inches wide. Hopefully you can see that. And then looking at the height, we're sitting right at about 4 3/4 inches tall, if you can see that. Now, one other measurement I wanna give you while we're here is taking a look at the collar depth for the PVC.
It looks like we're right at about 7/16 of an inch. And this hatch door is going to secure with this plastic twist thumb lock, so that is included with this, as you can see there. But this lock can be replaced with a key to lock cylinder, if that's something you would prefer. You can find those options here at etrailer.com. This is made here in the USA of UV-stabilized plastic, so you're not gonna have to worry about this fading or yellowing over time.
It's also resistant to impact and salt, so this is gonna do a great job of withstanding the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. If you notice, mounting hardware is included. A nice touch that I've seen with a lot of B&B products is their screws are color-matched to the plastic, so those screws are gonna match, blend right in with this white plastic, with those white heads. Butyl tape is also included to help prevent moisture from getting in behind the screws and allowing moisture to get behind there, so the butyl tape is included as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
