Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane hose. Like most of your propane hoses this is designed to allow your LP gas to flow through so you can power up those propane powered appliances. Now, there are a few things I would recommend looking into when you're searching for a propane hose to make sure that you're going to get the hose that's going to meet your needs. The first thing is going to be the length. Obviously you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B. This hose is 12 feet long, so as long as your point A and point B are less than 12 feet apart, you should be okay.
This hose is a rubber hose so it's going to be resistant to kinks and cracking. So it should hold up well for you there. It's got an internal diameter of 3/8 of an inch, which is going to be plenty of room for your LP gas to flow through and power up those appliances. So the first thing is the length. The second thing would be your fittings. There are several different kinds of fittings available for propane appliances and regulators, gas tanks, those kind of things.
So you want to make sure that you're getting the correct fitting that you need. Here we've got two of the same kind of fitting. These are both 3/8 inch female swivel, SAE fittings. Let me break that down a little bit for you. So the 3/8 inch is obviously the diameter size, the SAE refers to the threads on the inside.
There's different kinds available, so you want to make sure that you need an SAE.The swivel just means that this head can twist like that. It's going to make it easier to get it installed rather than having to crank on the hose itself to get tightened down. So that's going to be easy. When you look inside there, you can see that it's going to kind of taper down as it gets closer to the center. There are several different kinds of SAE fittings, with that in there you can see that's our flare.
So this is going to be an SAE flare fitting. So you want to make sure that what you're connecting this to is going to be a male SAE flare fitting. That's where the male and female combined hit together. When you tighten this down, it's going to push those two pieces together to create that nice tight seal so you're not getting any gas leaks or anything like that. So you do want to make sure that you're getting the correct hose for your situation. This hose is UL as well as CSA approved, so it's going to meet those quality standards. It's going to hold up well, do a good job. It's going to be very reliable. Now, it's this, isn't the hose that you need, maybe you need different fittings, maybe you don't need 12 feet. Maybe you need more than 12 feet. Whatever the case may be, if this isn't the product that you need, I would encourage you to come and take at our other options here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the products that you need to solve your problem so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's always our goal, we want to make sure that you are getting what you need the first time. So that's going to complete our look at the JR Products propane hose.

Hose lets you run propane from your propane tank to your RV's gas piping system. Swivel fitting on the female ends let you connect without having to turn the entire hose.First and foremost this hose was the length I needed and had the correct fittings to replace on in my RV. It needs to make a couple tight bends and rubber hoses are much better at this than the cheaper thermo-plastic gas hoses. I received it in 4 days with economy shipping. This hose is a quality hose and was just what I was looking for
Smelling propane outside of our Flagstaff travel trailer. Located leaking rubber hoses under the kitchen slideout. The manufacturer and local dealer had no clue about getting a replacement. Luckily the hose had OEM tags still on them. Several phone calls later and a cross reference number to etrailer and we were good to go. Items in stock and fast shipping at a reasonable price. Less than one hour to complete repairs. etrailer is my first call for mobile repair parts!
Great quality hose, exceeded my expectations. Received on time. Will continue to order what's needed from this Great company!
Excellent product and came earlier than expected. Thank you!
