Built for the off-road enthusiast, this Westin LED rock light kit includes 4 lights, a wiring harness with an in-cab switch, and mounting hardware. The rock lights mount to the underside of your vehicle to illuminate your path and to reveal hazardous terrain like rocks or harmful debris. They can also serve as an everyday accessory, giving your vehicle an eye-popping glow to make it stand out at night.
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Each rock light has a 570 raw lumen capacity and produces 302 effective lumens.
Compared to halogen lights, LEDs last longer, are more energy efficient, and are more durable, making them ideal for the outdoors. With 12 Cree LEDs that produce 36 watts of output, these lights pack plenty of punch. The flood beam emits a large, wide area of light that illuminates the ground whether you're rock crawling, off-roading, or simply driving in the city at night.
When off-roading, you need something durable that's going to last. These LED rock lights are constructed of aluminum and have a textured black finish, ensuring that they won't rust over time. Built with dust- and moisture-resistant polycarbonate lenses and water-resistant connectors, these lights will shine brightly on rough terrain and in inclement weather.
The rock lights can install in multiple locations on your truck or SUV. They can be mounted in your wheel wells above the tires, under the front or rear bumper, or various other places on your vehicle's frame to give you the look and function that you want. Self-tapping screws are included for mounting the lights on your vehicle. Some drilling is required.
Eight rubber mounts (4 flat, 4 angled) are also included. Not only do these give you increased flexibility when mounting the lights on different surfaces, but the mounts also allow you to direct the lights at different angles to get the light pattern that you want. Each rubber mount has multiple slots that allow the wires to be routed to the desired location, making customization easy.
Because these lights completely bypass your vehicle's wiring, they can be used with any vehicle. The universal wiring harness comes with a switch, relay, in-line fuse, and 4 connectors - 1 for each rock light. The harness has ring terminals that are designed to attach directly to your vehicle's battery. The lights are then controlled by the included switch, which mounts on the dashboard inside your cab.

Both options are available at eTrailer.com. They feature a flood beam design to create large patterns of light, which really helps illuminate a wider area of space than spot beams. It features the white Cree LEDs that are more energy-efficient, durable, and longer-lasting than halogen lights.They are dust and moisture-resistant due to the polycarbonate lenses to ensure that the lights stay bright in harsh weather conditions. We're looking at a die-cast aluminum housing with a textured black finish.
It's very durable and rust-proof and, then, the housing is rubber-sealed to keep out humidity. Pretty simple installation. It is a universal design. You can mount the lights in the wheel wells, above the tires, under the front or rear bumper, or anywhere else on your vehicle's frame that makes sense.It includes four flat rubber mounts and four angled rubber mounts as well as the installation hardware. Your wiring and harness connects directly to your vehicle battery to bypass the vehicle's electrical system.
It does come with the control switch, which can be mounted on the dashboard inside the cab of the vehicle. That way, you have easy access to the on and off functions of the LED lights. Then, all the connectors on the unit are water-resistant connectors, one for each light. There's four of them. These provide durability in the rain and snow.
It's a really easy installation.When it comes to the wiring, you just need to make sure you route it to where it's out of the way. You basically have your two wires. Red is your positive power wire. It has a ring terminal on it for connecting your battery and black is your ground with a ring terminal already on it. It is fuse-protected as well with an inline fuse holder.
When it comes to the dimensions of each light, they all measure the same. Edge to edge, this direction is about two and thirteen-sixteenths of an inch by an inch-and-a-half. Thickness is a half-inch and those measurements will change a little bit depending on which mount you choose to use.We're gonna go and hook it up to power.That way, you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low-light setting. You can see here that they send out a nice, bright, consistent signal. Very bright light output. The raw lumen output per light is 570 lumens, the effective lumen output is 302 lumens. We're looking at a total of 12 diodes, that's three LEDs per light. Wattage is 36 watts, that's nine watts per light. Input voltage is 10-volt to 30-volt DC and the power draw at 12 volts is 0.38 amps.
