These hard-plastic mud flaps are more rigid and less likely to sail than rubber splash guards. The wide flaps will protect your vehicle, towed gear, and other cars on the road from rocks and debris, and they are able to cover many dually tires.

Specs:
These truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16" thick and constructed of polymer, or hard plastic, which is more rigid than rubber and won't sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough give to bend rather than break if they hit something on the road.
If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.
If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Buyers Products Mudflaps. These are going to be made of a durable white polymer construction, so they're going to be able to repel any items that would come up from the road, things like rocks, road debris, bits of asphalt, anything that you might encounter when you're out on the road, and keep that from digging up your vehicle or your trailer. And also of course keeping any mud from splattering up onto your vehicle as well. They're pretty stiff construction. They do have a little bit of a bend to them, so they are slightly flexible, but these are going to be stiffer than typically you would experience with the rubber mudflaps. There's one side that's a little bit textured, the other side is pretty smooth, so you can choose which one os going to work out better for you. They're able to withstand subfreezing temperatures, and also will resist any snow or ice buildup, so they'll work out well in the northern states where you'd typically encounter a lot of snow and ice. Each mudflap measures about 30 inches, the one I have here today is about 30 1/4 inches long, by 24 inches wide, and mine is about 24 1/8.
So pretty close to those measurements, there might be a little bit of variance in between. We'll have four mounting holes up at the top. The distance center to center between each of those holes is 7 inches. So 7 inches, 7 inches, 7 inches. Each one is kind of an oblong shape, measures about 5/8 of an inch long, and about 1/2 inch wide.
The mats are about 1/8 inch thick, about 3/16.You do get two mudflaps that comes with this. Again, just a plain finish, and this product is made in the U.S.A. Should do a good job at keeping your vehicle protected, and keeping you relatively mud free. And that's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products Mudflaps.
