Hey there trailer owners. Today, we'll be taking a look at JR Products coupler pin with attached chain. It's a 5/16" diameter pin. It's going to be great for your larger latches on your couplers. The included snapper pin is going to help you easily secure it to prevent your trailer from becoming unattached while going down the road. The attached chain is ideal for preventing you from losing it.
You can simply take a self tapping screw and run it right through this eyelet here on the end into the A-frame or tongue of your trailer. That's going to secure it in place so that you can't lose your pin. It's just going to always be hanging around.It's a zinc plated steel. It's going to be resistant against rust and corrosion. Should last you for a long time to come.
It's an easy way to keep your trailer safe and secure going down the road. I recommend picking this up along with a self tapping screw, which we also have available here at etrailer.com. The main difference when looking at coupler pins is the chain length, the usable length and whether or not it has a chain at all. This has a 2*1/2" usable length on it. It's going to be great for even wider couplers than you see here.

I truly appreciate this no-frills no-games company and this product is going to be a life-saver. Can't tell you how many times I've dropped the coupler pin when I've been attaching/detaching the coupler on the hitch. And does the pin fall straight down? No - it rolls under some car every time! This will be perfect for a jelly fingers like me. I plan to zip tie the chain to the chains on my trailer so it will never get lost or roll away. Best solution ever. Thank you etrailer!

Just run it through the last link in the chain and be sure to avoid going through any parts of the coupler that have something on the other side that could be damaged.
