Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Precision Pick and Driver set. This is a really handy set for doing any kind of really delicate, detailed work, whether you're trying to fix a pair of eyeglasses or any other small electrical equipment that require a lot of smaller tools, maybe you're changing out the Ram on your laptop or doing something like that or anything else that might require you to have some smaller tools. This is going to be a great set to have. It does have this little plastic tray, which is kind of part of the packaging. You could use it as a tray to keep things in since it does hold stuff pretty well, but it's just kind of a piece of little flimsy plastic.
You might just want to end up throwing it away. But either way, just wanted to show you that you do have the option.Let's take a closer look at each of those tools to see what exactly you get in the kit. We'll have our kind of hooks and picks here towards the end. Our kind of classic button hook there that comes all the way around. One that comes down at a right angle.
One that comes at kind of a 45 degree, and then just a straight up stabby pointy guy here. It can be used for a lot of great things. If you need to poke a hole through something, maybe you need to make a new button hole in your belt, you've been tightening that belt, working hard. This is an easy way to do that. You're trying to make a hole in some kind of fabric or just trying to loop things through, can be used for all kinds of things. And then, we'll have our smaller star bits.
We'll get some torx bits, get a T six, seven, eight, nine, and 10. And then, you'll also get a Phillips head. Smaller guys, we're going to get really small and then even smaller. It's going to be a PHO and PHOO, or Phillips Head O and Phillips Head OO. And then you also get a 2.5 millimeter straight or flat...
Excuse me, flathead screwdriver, and then a three millimeter flathead screwdriver.Really handy set, again, for doing any kind of delicate small work on a lot of different things. This could come in handy for all kinds of jobs. Doesn't have to be just around the garage, can be around the home. It could be for an art project, all kinds of stuff. Having a tool set like this is really handy to have. I've used tools like this to replace the optical drive on my laptop. Took it out and replaced it with a solid state drive and I really needed to have some screwdrivers and didn't have any before. It just can come in handy for a lot of different things. And I've used those same screwdrivers to fix my eyeglasses when I've popped out a screw or something like that. It's just nice to have them around. But that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at these tools. I do like that they are all together. You do get a little bit of grippiness on the picks here. There is some kind of expanded steel at the bottom. If you really need to get up tight on that pick to get better dexterity, it gives you that option. Maybe kind of hard to see that, but it's just this little bumpiness on the metal itself, and that's true for all of our picks and hooks there. Not so much on the Phillips or torx bits. They are made out of chrome-vanadium steel and the grips are pretty comfortable in the hand to do any of that detailed work. That's pretty much it for our quick look at this pick and driver set. I hope that this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right tool set for you. We do have a lot of other hand tools here at etrailer.com, along with a whole lot of accessories and parts for your vehicles, boats, and RVs, so be sure to check them out. Thanks for watching.
