Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Reese gooseneck trailer hitch installation rail kit for the Ford trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2016 Ford F250, F350 super duty trucks, and also fits the 2008 to 2016 Ford F450 super duty trucks. Now this kit will not fit the cabin chassis models and on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, putting your year, model, vehicle and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, this kit allows a nice, quick, easy installation of your draw tide or Reese gooseneck hitch to your vehicle.
This does have a 25,000 pound gross tow weight capacity and a 6,250 pound tongue weight capacity. It is rated to match the manufacturer's vehicle tow weight ratings. It is a custom fit part. It does use the existing holes in the vehicle frame. So there's no drilling required and it is a simple bolt on insulation, no welding required.
It does come with all the hardware you need to install it, nice set of instructions that will describe how it bolts on. Also, there's no need to raise your truck, bed on most models and there's no need to remove the exhaust to install it. Now, this kit, we've sort of assembled here just to show you what it's going to look like when it's installed but over here's your mounting plates that have run to the frame. And these are your crossrails that the gooseneck hitch will bolt right into the middle here. Now this does work with the draw tight and Reese gooseneck trailer hitches.
It's for use with the 94 60 height of goose the 94 70 under bed gooseneck hitch heads, also works with the 63,000 and 63,044 removable gooseneck hitches. And it also works with the fold down gooseneck head. Those would all bolt into this kit.
