Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the Draw Tite Gooseneck trailer hitch installation rail kit. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks without the factory rail kit and on a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now this installation kit, it's designed for use with a Draw Tite hide-a-goose, Draw tite remove-a-ball and Draw tite fold down gooseneck trailer hitches. Now for this video, I've installed the plates to the rails just to show you what it'll look like when it's installed and then right here is where your gooseneck hitch, whichever one you use would be installed. The custom rails are designed to fit your vehicle.
This is a bolt on application. There's no welding required.All the installation hardware and instructions are included and in the hardware, they do include spacer shins, which will prevent the truck bed corrugation from collapsing and the weight rating on this will match that of your vehicle. In regards to your Draw-Tite Hide A Goose Neck hitch we purchased from you. It has been a great investment. I have had a full shoulder replacement, and 6 level fusion in my neck and back. I'm 70 now and it drove my wife nuts watching me take out the old style 5th wheel hitch, I was continuingly injuring my self in some way when I handled the old hitch.. I also lost the flat bed space. With your hitch, it is so easy, it's hard to believe. It takes me just a few minutes and absolutely NO strain of any kind. The trailer is also a better and smother pull with your hitch. I have the full use of the bed and it's so easy to store. You can just hang it on your garage wall and forget it. My sister who is 76 and maybe 120 lbs. has picked it up and handed it to me with no problem. I highly recommend this hitch to anyone that is pulling a fifth wheel.

There is no way to use it on a 2005 GMC. Instead you would need the part number # 9465-34. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
