Today we're going to take a look at the Draw-Tite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch insulation rail kit. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Ford F-150 trucks. Now on any custom fit part, what I like to do is to recommend to go to our website. Use our fit guide, put your year and model vehicle in and it will show you if this will work for your application. Now for this video I've actually installed the side frame brackets to the cross members, just to give you an idea what this would be like when it's assembled on your vehicle. This is a custom fit, under mounting system so it'll let you install your gooseneck trailer hitch in the bed of your truck.
It is designed for use with the draw tight hide-a-goose removable and fold down gooseneck hitches. This is a bolt on application. There's no welding required. It does include the installation hardware in a nice set of detailed instructions and in the hardware does include the spacer shims, which will keep your truck bed corrugation from collapsing when installing this. It is a powder-coated steel which is very durable and corrosion resistant. As I mentioned, it is custom fit for your vehicle.
Now the weight rating on this insulation kit will match that of your vehicle. That should do it for the Draw-Tite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch insulation rail kit.
