Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the B&W Turnover Gooseneck Custom Installation Kit for your Chevy and GMC trucks. And folks, this is a custom fit application, make sure you're getting the right parts for your specific vehicle. Check out our homepage, etrailer.com, top center of the page where it says my vehicle, enter your year, make, and model, cab size, bed length, that kind of stuff. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time for your specific vehicle. Now, folks, this rail kit will let you install your B&W Turnover Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, which is sold separately.
And then when all that's installed together, it would look something like this in the bed of your truck. So as you can see, it's a nice, clean, super low profile. You got the two safety chain hooks that are spring loaded on the outside, and the ball is flipped over and in the stored position. You could then flip it over and have it in the tow position. Again, that Turnover Gooseneck Trailer Hitch is sold separately.
I'll go ahead and put that up there on the screen in case you need that. Now, all the hardware here is gonna come with the install kit. I've also got four bolts and nuts and washers and lock washers that you don't see here that I've already mocked up the actual demo here with today. Now, what these guys here are, if you've never seen these before, you're not familiar with, some are spacers and some are actually what will help you hold nuts and bolts in place when you're doing the install on some hard to reach places. You've got a little rubber O-ring here.
Check the instructions that are included to make sure you install that in the correct area. And again, everything here I've kinda got loosely fit together just to kinda show you what would look like in the bed of the vehicle. It may be twisted around depending on the orientation that you're looking. These side brackets, folks, these are gonna mount directly to the frame of your truck. So there should be very minimal drilling, if any at all, installing this custom bracket kit onto the frame of your trucks.
The weight resistant or the weight capacity is limited to that of your vehicle. So let's say your truck's rated at, oh, I don't know, 20K. Then, just because you add this, you cannot pull 30K if that gooseneck ball, let's say was rated at 30K. So keep in mind, your capacity of your vehicle is always gonna be whatever they rated it at from the factory. Now, folks, this is made in the USA, it's great American-made steel, it's a limited lifetime warranty. It's got a nice, beautiful, gray powder coat finish on it, it's gonna resist corrosion and rust. B&W's been around for ages. If you've had their products before, you know what great items they make. And also, the quality they go into with not only their checks and balances when they're making stuff, the tolerances, and making sure stuff fits right the first time. So a very great company to work with that we partner with here at etrailer as well. So again, folks, check the installation instructions when you're installing this to make it easier.
