Now, this part is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2009 to 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks, excluding the Crew Cab models. And on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
Now, this kit here is a complete installation kit that'll allow you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything laid out here on the table. It includes these custom fit mounting brackets, the base rails, all the hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. Now, these custom fit brackets right here in the middle, these are designed mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for the fifth wheel rails. These do have a nice, black powder coat finish on them to resist corrosion.
And what's nice about these, these are custom fit, and they're custom fit because they'll mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. If you notice, these brackets have the holes already drilled in them. These will line up to the holes in your frame, so it'll minimize the amount of drilling that's required. So because of that, it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits. The base rails, which is this one and this one back here, these are what'll sit in your truck bed.

Pulled a 23' Prowler 5th wheel from Montana to Washington. No problem for the 1500.
Lucky the bolt kit for the installation kit was in a sturdy bag! Right rear bracket needed some spacing because of a suspension weldment.
Get some hardened flat washers for the rail bolts to prevent them from digging in.
Many of the nuts have a nice handle to get them in place. Put a wrench on them though, because the handle will wrap up before torque is reached.
It was a hard job for one person, but the finished product is solid!
Heads up if you're using a gooseneck adapter, it requires bolts in the center of the rail! Tricky.
