Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this CURT Custom Fit fifth wheel bracket kit for the Dodge Trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2009 to 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks, excluding the crew cab models. And on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now these brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails to attach to.

Now it does require the CURT base rails, which we do sell separately on our website, and it works with the Curt base rail part number C16104, C16204, or C16205. All three of those we do sell separately on our website, and the only difference between those three is just the finish of them. Now this will provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. You can see on the brackets, the holes already drilled in there. This will minimize the amount of drilling that's required, because the holes will line up with the holes on your frame.

And because of that, it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits. Now this does include all the necessary hardware to install it, a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe in detail how everything goes together. Now these parts do have a nice black powder coat finish to them to resist corrosion, and they are designed to work with the standard rails that are compatible with B&W, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky Above Bed fifth wheel trailer hitches.
