I highly recommend using a custom 5th wheel bracket kit because it means you don't have to drill into the frame on your 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. Husky labels their bracket kits as "custom" but in any of their install kits that I've seen the instructions call for some form of drilling into the frame so their kits are more "semi-custom" than truly being custom. Since drilling takes a lot of time and effort it is well worth the extra money to invest in a custom kit.
As long as your Husky 5th wheel hitch uses the industry standard mounting locations (see attached photo) then I recommend the Reese # RP50142-58 which fits all bed lengths for your pickup or the Curt # C16422-204 which is a little more cost-effective but it doesn't fit the 5-1/2' size bed. The install instructions have been linked for you to check out.
