Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 4-1/14 inch round recess mount amber LED strobe light with the dual flash function. Now, this is a low-profile amber strobe light. It's to alert other drivers and pedestrians to the presence of your service vehicle. It is designed to fit into tight spaces. And this light is great for emergency vehicles, work trucks, and trailers.

It offers a dual flash strobe pattern, gives you versatile lighting to fit your application. I do wanna show that to you. We have this hooked up to some 12 volt power. So if I go ahead and turn the power on, you'll be able to see the dual flash mode. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how it gives you the dual flash.

It is an amber lens over 36 amber LEDs. I'm gonna just zoom back out to show you from a distance. Turn back on our overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power. Now, they do offer a sync wire technology on this light to allow two lamps to communicate with each other without an external strobe controller.

The LEDs they use on this will make great replacements for incandescent lights and LEDs are more efficient 'cause they'll provide brighter lights with less power output. And, of course, no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break. It is a nice durable plastic base with an acrylic lens. As we mentioned, it's an amber lens over 36 amber LEDs. It is compatible with the 12 volt DC system.

And it is a recessed mount design, has a flange on it. Now, it does need a rubber grommet to install. That rubber grommet is not included. We do sell that separately. And it is designed to accept the AMP style plug for weather tight connection. Now, the plug is not included. For this demonstration, I've actually pulled one just to show you, but I'll show you the plug that's used. If we just pull this out, unhook it, and there's the type of plug that is used. And again, we do sell the plug separately on our website. A few specs of this, the dimension, the diameter of this, you can see is gonna be right at 4-1/4 inches. And the total depth on this, including the mounting base there, is right at about 1-3/8 inches deep. But that should do it for the review on this 4-1/4 inch round recess mount amber LED strobe light with the dual flash pattern.
