This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access this harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Installed the trailer hitch receiver exactly one year ago. It was easy to install and works great. I used a hydraulic jack to hold the hitch in place
and then installed the bolts.

2005 Chrysler 300

I bought this Harness to hook up a Tail Light Triple Row Light Bar on the trunk of my Chrysler 300. I already installed the Light Bar on my trunk and the wiring ran through the trunk lid and down into the trunk. Once this Harness was delivered the rest of the install was very easy and the Harness work flawlessly. The back of my 300 looks great. Further, the harness got here really fast.

2009 Dodge Charger

I ordered the trailer hitch and receiver, plus the wiring harness for my 2009 Dodge Charger. The wiring harness had to be the easiest thing I have ever done. The hitch receiver was a little more challenging, but married up to the frame of my Charger with no problems. Have loved towing with it.

2007 Dodge Charger

The eTrailer product was a breeze to install in my 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8. Where I have no intention of ever towing with this vehicle, and do not and will not ever add a tow hitch, the wiring harness made it easy to tap into the brake & rear turn signal wiring without having to alter or splice into the original wiring. This provided me with easy output connections to add accessory LED show/lighting.

My eTrailer rep "London" was very informative, helpful and conscientious in our phone conversation while discussing my plans & taking my order. She was a joy to work, shipping was fast, and it took an easy 10-minutes to install with no special tools.

The kit clips into the OEM taillight inputs (Left & Right) in seconds using the exact/style connectors. Left & Right are easy to decipher and the output of the wiring harness is a standard 4-connector trailer scenario.

I did add a few extra zip ties, split-wire loom & a junction block for connections to my aftermarket additions, just because I'm a clean freak & wanted to make everything look as OEM as possible on my top-of-the-line custom Charger. It was probably overkill as it all occurred under & behind the factory trunk trim molded carpet piece anyway.

Overall, the kit was easy to install & works flawlessly, the eTrailer sales girl was professional & the price was right. What more could I want?

2010 Dodge Charger

I was told by a [local auto parts] "technician" that there was no plug in install trailer light harness for my 2010 Charger. This company proved once again, you can't trust these "expert" auto-parts salesmen. The harness that etrailer sent, took all of 30 minutes to install, including tapping the screw for the ground wire. It works perfect and saved me the problems associated with cutting and splicing wires, that would eventually cause tail-light/ turn-signal failure, when moisture accumulates in the splice. According to the [local auto parts] guy, it was the only way to install trailer lights on my car. It pays to research a bit.

2012 Dodge Challenger

Product went in exactly as described. Basically plug and play, idiot proof. Only problem I had was getting factory wiring plugs/sockets to pull apart. You push the little red thing to unlock it, but you have to push a little black thing in, didn't show that in instructions. Figured it out after about 5 minutes. Niice to have a product where you don't have to chop into the wiring system to install. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a application that it would fit. Installed on 2012 Challenger SXT

by:

i must say that this was one of the easiest thing i have put on the car. the video was excellent on helping me to install both the hitch and the wiring. if ever i have to buy another hitch i will go through etrailer.

by:

The hitch looks great laying on the floor, I had spinal surgery shortly after receiving the hitch and have not been able to install it yet

2009 Dodge Challenger

Took less than 10 minutes to install, very simple and can hide the connector inside the taillight access cover.

by:
2006 Chrysler 300

Perfect fit and easy installation on both the hitch and wiring harness.
Took about an hour to complete becuase I had to run a tap (M12X1.75) through the in-frame nuts to clean them up before the install.

by:

Easy install, only took minutes! lots of length and good quality connectors

by:

Very easy install and plugged into car easily. This wiring kit had a quality "factory feel to it". Installed it in about 10 minutes. Shipping was very fast. Ordered it on Thursday and received it the following Monday.

by:
2006 Chrysler 300

The connections are great; plug right into the lamps. The problem is that I still haven't found an "elegant" way to get the cables out of the trunk and down to the hitch. I think I will have to resort to a drill and silicon sealant.

by:

  • Trailer Hitch Tow Capacity Different than Vehicle Tow Capacity, 2011 Dodge Challenger with 3.6 Liter
Even though the vehicle may be capable of towing more, Chrysler/Dodge determines what the Challenger is capable of towing. There can be many deciding factors that lead to a company deciding what the tow capacity should be including, but not limited to, the frame, suspension, engine, and transmission. So you need to stay within the manufacturers recommendation. Otherwise it will void the warranty. The CURT Trailer Hitch, # C13093, is capable of 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350...

  • Trailer Hitch is Rated Higher than Towing Capacity of 2005 Chrysler 300 with 2.7L V6
The important thing to remember is that the trailer hitch is rated for 3,500 pounds. If the vehicle is rated lower, which in this case it is, you go by the lower rating. You would not want to go beyond the capacity specified in your vehicle owners manual. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you. I have also included a link to the installation instructions. Since you are planning on doing some towing I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes...

  • Ball Mount Kit, Trailer Hitch, and Wiring Harness for a 2010 Dodge Challenger
For the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch item # 76145 you are going to want the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case. This hitch is confirmed to fit your 2010 Dodge Challenger unless you have the quad tip exhaust. If you have the quad tip exhaust you will want the Curt...

  • Signal Flashing Fast, Circuit Breaker Trips on 2006 Chrysler 300 with Trailer Wiring Installed
It sounds as if either you have the plugs installed in the wrong locations (not likely), see instructions link, the connectors have a bent terminal or the wiring has been shorted to ground somewhere. You should check all of these situations without the trailer connected. Next, check the trailer lights. The Chrysler 300 circuitry will not support more than one tail light and one turn/brake light on each side of the trailer. If your trailer has additional lighting you will need to use a...

  • No Brake Lights when Towing New Wheelchair Trailer With 2007 Chrysler 300 Wiring # 118404
Your 2007 Chrysler 300 has a 2-wire system that combines the brake light and turn signal function onto one circuit. This means that if the brake and turn signals on the car are working correctly, the brake signal at the trailer connector should work properly, as long as the wire harness connectors and wires are connected properly and there is no damage. The first thing to do is confirm or eliminate the wiring harness as the problem. Disconnect the trailer and test the 4-Way connector with...

  • Recommended Ball Mount For 2014 Dodge Challenger To Tow Trailer With 16" Coupler Height
When we had a chance to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76145 on a similar 2018 Dodge Challenger we found that from the ground to the top inside edge of the trailer hitch receiver measured in at 9-1/4". Since the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer - 7-1/2' Long - 1,640 lbs # K2MMT5X7 you were looking at has a coupler height of 16" I recommend the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 7" Rise, 8" Drop - 9-3/8" Long - 12,000 lbs...
