  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind rear bumper
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's and passenger's sides.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

1st one did not fit. took long time to receive another one and it was the same and would not fit. never did receive one to fit. I had to rewire my own connectors. the original one was a genuine Ford product

From further inspection, I do see that this does not look like the plug you are supposed to be plugging this harness c55350 into. In the background of the photo you provided, the plug that you are supposed to be using is plugged into the vehicle behind the plug at the forefront. That plug would need to be undone and the T-harness c55350 would be connected. Generally, with these harnesses they will tie into the taillights, opposed to the OEM Ford plug that would plug into that plug at the forefront of your picture.

  • 7-Way, 4-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 1995 Ford Bronco
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one in working order). For that you would want the # C55350. From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well. The connector has both a 7-way and a 4-way connector on it. For a brake controller I would recommend...

  • Does Gas Tank have to be Loosened to Install Trailer Hitch on a 1995 Ford Bronco
The notes I have on installing Curt trailer hitch # 14001 on a 1995 Ford Bronco only say that you may need to loosen the bumper and reposition it upward and that the spare tire may need to be repositioned. Loosening the bumper will allow you more clearance to tighten the bolts. It sounds like you already have the hitch. If you plan on doing some towing and need additional accessories I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It includes a ball mount, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip,...

  • Recommended 7-Way Wiring Harness and Hitch for a 1993 Ford Bronco
Since your 1993 Ford Bronco already has a 4-way wiring harness like item # C55350, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts to the rear of your Bronco with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.  You will then connect the blue wire to the blue wire on the brake controller,...

  • Installation Of Hopkins Agility Brake Controller # HM47294 On My 1992 Ford Bronco
When installing the Hopkins Agility Brake Controller, part # HM47294, on your 1992 Ford Bronco, you will not need the Ford adapter, part # HM47715, as it is not compatible with your 1992 Ford Bronco. To install the Hopkins Brake Controller # HM47294 on your 1992 Ford Bronco, you will need to install a 4-Way Connector, the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C55350, if you do not already have a 4-Way on your vehicle. You will need to use Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit,...

  • Brake Controller Installation and Recommendation for a 1996 Ford Bronco
At this time we have not had he chance to video a brake controller installation on a 1996 Ford Bronco. I do have some information that will be helpful though. If your Bronco has a factory 7-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle or if you have a factory tow package there will be a plug along the left frame rail behind the rear bumper. If this plug is present then you can look for a brake controller connector under the dash above the transmission hump. This connector will match up to...

  • What is the Highest Rated Trailer Hitch Available for a 1996 Ford Bronco
The highest rated available trailer hitches I can find for a 1996 Ford Bronco are Class IV hitches. We carry the CURT Trailer Hitch, # 14001. This hitch does not fit cab and chassis models or models with a roll pan bumper. It is a Class IV hitch rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight, 12,000 pounds when used with weight distribution. I have included a link to the installation instructions. If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer Ball...

  • Parts Needed to Tow 1974 Ford Bronco with 1995 Bronco That Has No Hitch or Trailer Wiring
If you are thinking of flat-towing, an electric trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 cannot be used for your application since your towed vehicle does not have electric brakes. Also, another complication is that we do not offer any tow bar base plates for the 1974 Ford Bronco; you would have to have base plates custom fabricated, which could be potentially very costly. I have linked an article that provides a lot of important information on the requirements for...
