Features:
LED lights are built into this headache rack. There are 4 lights. The 2 innermost lights tie into your vehicle's tail lights and the 2 outermost lights illuminate in tandem with your turn signals and brake lights. The entire lighting setup comes pre-wired so that you only have to connect a single harness to your truck's wiring to power all 4 of the lights.
This headache rack is also built with oversize tie-down points on both sides of the rack that double as handles. Not only can you lash down your equipment by running even wide strap through the anchor point, but you can also easily pull yourself up to access your truck bed.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this B&W custom headache rack. This is a heavy-duty headache rack. It's gonna help protect your cab of your truck from your shifting cargo. It's gonna prevent any cargo in your truck bed from crashing in through your rear window. This is gonna be a custom fit.
It's gonna work for your 2020 Miller GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500. So since it is a custom fit, it's gonna be very simple to get installed and include some instructions for you to walk you through that installation process, but then, it's also going to look really good on your vehicle as well. This is made here in the USA of a very sturdy steel construction. It's also got a high-gloss, black powder coat finish. It's gonna help resist rust and corrosion.
It does come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any issues with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us. But I think this is gonna hold up well for you for a long time to come. You can see it does have the slat-style inserts that's gonna create that barrier without obstructing your view so you can still see out your rear window. It's also gonna have the horizontal louvers that's going to help shield you from the sun.
It's gonna give you a little bit of shade there, but main purpose is to prevent anything from coming through your rear glass. We do have the raised tabs on both ends. That's going to allow you to put your ladders, lumber, and cargo on top here. You won't have to worry about them sliding off. They also have the side-mounted handles.
That's gonna help you lift yourself up. Or you can also use these as tie-down points. So if you wanna wrap straps around there, very simple to get it round there, and don't have to worry about the width of your strap. It's gonna be pretty wide for you there, so will accomodate lots of different straps. We do also have the four LED lights. Those are going to wire into your truck's wiring so that you can have your running lights. So your two innermost lights here are going to give you your tail light functions, and then your outermost lights are going to give you your brake and turn signal functions. That is all pre-wired into the rack here. It does come with the wire end there so you can very easily wire that into your truck. Couple of our customers have mentioned that it would be nice to have that just on a plug instead of that hardwire end. But it is going to give you plenty of wire here, you can see, so you can very easily wire into your truck's wiring system and get those lights functional. So if you are looking for a way to add some extra protection, if you've got a lotta cargo in the bed of your truck, you wanna prevent it from making contact with your cab, this is gonna be a great way to go. the shipping company had gouged and scrached the paint and finnish off in a couple of places, other than that it is a very nice and fit to a tee.
Was the right fit and all the parts were there ! I added the dot tape and I didn’t like the idea of splicing into the harness so I routed through the stake pocket and back to the bed plug ! It’s built pretty heavy duty ! I would of like the wires to be of better quality with a heavy rubber insulator but I put it in flex conduit. Just would’ve eliminated one more process! Took 18 min to install and another 30 for the lights ! etrailer made sure I had the right fit and product before it was shipped. They delivered faster than scheduled! I would definitely buy from them again!!!

After doing research I decided on the B&W rack and I’m glad I did. Install was easy but I’d like to see them change a couple things. The rack is powder coated and I had to wire brush the bolts in order to thread the nuts on. Also I would like to see them have a pigtail for you wiring harness instead of having to splice into it. Other than that I would recommend this rack to anybody who wants a strong durable rack.
I like it. One of the side brackets were bent a little bit but I straighten it out when I installed it it looks great now

Overall quality product that was easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes on my own to install it. Would reccoment this headache rack. One thing, since the rack is designed for the alumaduty Fords they could add some anti galvanic corrosion to the packaging.
Really made a difference. The truck looks great.
