Jeff: Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this GSI Outdoor stainless steel nine cup Glacier coffee percolator. This allows you to bring your coffee ritual wherever you go using this coffee percolator. It has a nice stainless steel construction, conducts heat, brews quickly so that you can get your day started. The very top here you can see it has this perk view knob that'll let you gauge the strength of your brew without opening the lid and burning yourself. It does have this nice heat-resistant silicone handle on there, makes serving very safe and easy. It has this hinge lid that will ensure that you won't misplace it when you need it.Now, it is designed to brew up to nine cups.
You can see on the side, it has the markings five, seven, all the way up to nine. Inside is your lid, your basket, and then your stem.A few dimensions on this. Overall height of this to the very top is going to be right at seven and three quarter inches tall. The diameter of it from this side to this side is going to be right at about five and one eighths inches. And then the length, in other words, from the very front here to the very back of the handle, you're going to be looking at right at about eight and 13 sixteenths of an inch long.
Weight of it is only about 25 ounces.Just to show you how you would percolate your coffee, basically what you would do, take everything out, and then you'd fill the pot here with the water, and you just go by what your measurements are, five, seven or nine. You just want to make sure you don't put your water in a . You want to want it to be below the basket when your basket's installed. It goes up to nine cups. Then what you'll do is take the lid off here. Then in this basket here, you fill it with two tablespoons of coarse ground coffee for every six ounces of water that you use.
Once you've got your coffee in there, then you can basically insert that in there, put your lid on top of there, and then close the lid and then heat it at the highest setting. Then what you'll want to do is it'll be percolating right up in here that you'll be able to see. You'll remove this from the heat as soon as the percolating stops. And you do not want to allow this coffee to perk more than three minutes. That should do it for the review on the GSI Outdoor stainless steel nine cup Glacier coffee percolator.
