Video Transcript for Review of Coghlans Camping Kitchen - Water Containers - CG23FV

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Coghlan's collapsible water dispenser, five gallon jug. Now this five gallon water container is going to be perfect to go ahead and store inside of one of your containers in your RV or somewhere in your vehicle because it actually collapses down. So we'll take a look at that here in just a second.

Let me give you guys just a little bit of a brief overlook when it is in this position. Now this is going to be great. Of course, you can go ahead and collapse that down and get stored almost anywhere. Really take up no room at all, and then get a five gallon container it's not going to be a fixed rugged structure. That's just gonna be bounced around and taking a lot of room.

A nice even go ahead and get a collapsed in that way. It's going to be a lot less room that we have to worry about. Storage management definitely becomes an issue when you are RV living. Now this BPA free non-toxic plastic is gonna be made of a polyethylene material, which means it's still going to remain flexible even in that cold weather. So don't worry.

Even into the weather months, this guy is still going to be collapsible. You're not going to be breaking it or tarnishing it or ripping it when you're getting out in the weather, which is great. I like that. Now, obviously you start reaching negative negative digits. I'd be a little careful with anything mainly yourself, but I think for most of us, this is still gonna remain pretty well in a working order, even in those freezing temperatures, which is great.

Now the ability collapse is what really impresses me on this product. I love that we can go ahead and get it collapsed in no time before I do that though. Let's go ahead and look into the dimensions when it actually is in this position. And just talk a little bit about this nozzle here in a second. So from here, we can go ahead and give ourselves, let's just start with our height generally. So when we are fully open here, that is going to be putting you right about 11 inches there, maybe 11 and a quarter to the very top for our width going across. That's going to put you right at about nine and a half inches there about 10. Let me actually go ahead and get that from that handle though. That makes more sense to me. So that handle protrusion is going to put you right around 11 and a half inches there. Guys, let me go ahead and give you guys a closer look. Sorry about that, everyone. And just for our, with here, of course, for that front plate, that's going to be putting you at about 10 and one quarter or maybe up to a 10 and a half. So talking about this front holder here, definitely not gonna be too much room. And especially you're going to be great to go ahead and throw this like on a picnic table or something, right Have your water hanging out that way the kids or the family can just walk right up, open this up and no time and gets refreshing water. Now with this guy, it's very, very easy to open. You just simply turn it of course much like you would close it again to go ahead and cut off that water. Now it does say does a great job, making sure we don't have any leaks, which is definitely a must in my opinion. And then you have this little holder right lefty. Loosey is going to go ahead and allow me to take that off. One thing I liked about it though, when you are putting it on, right You have this guy sticking up a little bit. What can be nice about that I got all you have to do spin it that way. It's ready to go. It doesn't really matter where you get it set. So don't be too worried about it. Not going to have to eyeball it every time. Sometimes it's a real pain. All we got to do back that guy off. And that's gonna allow me to collapse this down really quickly, which is very nice and go ahead, get that water out. And there we go. Pretty well condensed there. If you guys can see it, doesn't take up too much room. Now it is going to come with a box. I found it a little bit harder to get right back into that box so I could see maybe like some kind of plastic tote. You'd go ahead and kind of get this guy collapsed down into it'd be great. Now the box is going to work. I just had a little bit of a hard time getting the top of the box to kind of fit on it. Let me go ahead and give you guys these dimensions though, really quick. If I can just at least a rough idea of how much we can get this collapsed down to start with is pretty much gonna be the same right there about 12 inches or so now the height is going to be the big one to me as we can go ahead and see what this nicely collapsed. Only puts you about three inches at max there, which is very, very nice. So definitely going to be something to kind of have to fight. You can see it once to go back to its shape. So maybe having something to go ahead, keep this weighted down, just to have something on it. It's going to be really helpful to go ahead and keep one of those containers in the RV. And not having it too much in the way. Now talking about maintenance with this guy. If you do find yourself leaving this outside a lot, especially with water in it, I could see a little bit of algae growth that could become an issue later on with it just because it is a white plastic. So it's not going to do a great job of preventing any kind of light coming inside of it. I've just seen other containers of this type really kind of get gross pretty quick. If you're not maintaining them to do that, just a little bit of bleach in there, a little water, rinse it out. Of course, rinse it again to get all that bleach and stuff out of there. But that way you're preventing any kind of growth from adding up in here. And that can definitely can become no bueno. Finally, if you want to have some water, that's not so gross at your camp site. So a little maintenance can go a long way. And I think really letting this guy air out, that's going to be big thing, dumping the water, really shaken it that way. You're not having all that water get trapped in there as you collapse it. That could definitely be pretty gross if you're just throwing it right in your container. So just a little maintenance, make sure that this can last through the seasons. To come that way. You guys always have water, no matter where you go. Well, guys, I think that that about does it for our look at the Coghlan's collapsible water dispenser, five gallon jug here today at etrailer.com I'm Bobby, thank you for watching..
