Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor made Bimini top dog snaps. These are going to connect to your Bimini boat top tie downs and allow you to connect to the eye straps on your gunwales so that you can keep your Bimini boat top in the fully open position. You're not going to have to worry about any gusts of wind or anything like that, catching it. Here we have an example of an eye strap.
This is our chrome Zamak option here at etrailer. You can find it using part number 3691225. Just to give you an example of how these work, once you have your eye strap mounted onto your boat and your dog snap onto your tie-downs, you can simply snap it into place like that. That's going to keep that tension on those tie downs so that your Bimini top can stay open.These are made out of a stainless steel, so you're not going to have to worry about them rusting or corroding in those aquatic situations. Does come with two in this kit and they are made here in the USA.
Our eye opening for our straps, tie down straps, it's going to be right about one and a 16th of an inch long wide, and call it about 9/32 or just over a quarter of an inch tall. Our overall length, looking at right about two and an eighth of an inch long. Call it about one and 5/16 of an inch wide.
