I ordered these replacements straps for the Yakima Joe trunk bike rack because over the years the original staps broke or wore out , and we lost some of the end clips in the process. The staps would be better if they had better tightening fittings and the staps were of higher quality so as not to fray and stretch. These replacements will give us enough clips and straps for another ten years. etrailer is excellent (5 star service) in service , fast sipping, price and availibility.
I was looking for straps to replace the shredding straps on my 13-year old Yakima bike rack. After doing a bit of research I was thrilled to find them on this site for such a reasonable price, and not with an excessive shipping charge. They arrived timely in great condition and were easy to install. They saved me the cost of a new rack.
This is my second order of replacement straps from etrailer. (Different placement straps). Both for a Yakima trunk bike rack. I was very pleased with the product quality, quick response and speedy delivery. The replacement straps are not that easy to find and both times I looked, etrailer had them. I would definitely use etrailer for parts
And a new rack when the time comes.
This didn't turn out to be the right replacement part for our Very Ancient Yakima trunk-mounted bike rack, but the quality of the cam connector, strap, and hook is good and it will be easy to adapt for what we need. Shipping was faster than expected.
I ordered the Yakima replacement straps because the ones that were on my Yakima joe 2 bike rack were dry rotted. These straps are exactly as described and was a breeze to replace the old ones. Great product and excellent customer service! Thanks etrailer!

Working with the man at the bike rack store we were able to modify this one so that it should/will work with my trunk rack which is very old.
These straps have been on my bike rack/car virtually 100% of the time for the past year in all weather (no garage), and they are holding up extremely well.
These worked great. My bike rack already had the clamps attached, so I just had to remove the ones that came with the replacement straps.

etrailer had the parts that I couldn't find, they fit perfect, and are this working great - Remember to look here first.
The straps were exactly what I needed and included all hardware to replace the existing straps. I hate disposing of used items so being able to simply replace the straps on my Yakima Little Joe rather than having to send it to the dump and replace it was excellent.

This product is twice the price on the yakima website and the shipping fees are much higher. Here I get exactly the same product for half the price.

The straps are working fine. Saved me a lot of money as they were the only worn part in the rack.
