Replacement Key for Yakima Racks and Carriers - A140

The folks at etrailer were way more helpful and responsive than Yakima itself was. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to use my (very expensive) Yakima roof carrier after breaking a key off in one of the locks, but etrailer was able to provide both the hardware and the support I needed way before Yakima ever responded. i had lost the key to my Yakima car top carrier( which I had purchased used,earlier from an individual.
I like my Yakima car top carrier very much and would recommend it. It is sturdy and durable, easy to attach to the car and open from both sides for ease of loading and unloading. (However, I am currently unable to get one side to unlock)
Overall,very good quality. I would choose Yakima again as my preference for a car top carrier.310490

We have ordered replacement keys for both our Thule and Yakima boxes from etrailer and we have always had fast service at an affordable price.

Our Yakima box required the removal of the key cylinder to get the key number, so I had to order a control key and then place a separate order for the actual replacement key. In the end, it took the span of about 7 days total to get both keys. 521044
