Hello, neighbors. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Gear Tote for your Yakima MOD Storage Systems. Now if you're not familiar with the Yakima MOD Storage System, it's just a nice modular system comprised of different kind of cargo drawers and cabinetry, and some totes like this, and then some sturdier totes with a very nice thermal form lid on top as well. So that's just an option there above my left hand shoulder of what that MOD System looks like. Now folks, this cargo tote will attach to your Yakima MOD Storage System and help you store an organized variety of items.

Maybe bicycle helmets, snowboard gear, boots, that kind of thing. Gloves, hats, or just your everyday items. Maybe you're going to the grocery store, or you've been shopping and you wanna put your stuff in a nice box, and then simply pick it up and bring it in the house. Very simple to do something like that. Now, this does have a couple of front and rear anchor straps to hold this in place on the MOD System.

First up here, you got this little hook. That would attach to this guy once you install this on the MOD System, and it's got like a nylon style hoop there. That S part would just hook in there, and then you could cinch this down tight. The other option, install this guy on top of your Yakima MOD System. It screws in place.

It's got a plastic spot in here that this clip on the box will actually click into place. And I got a video here I wanna pop up here just to kind of show you a demo of that. So if you had this full of gear, you could push it back and then it would literally kind of click in place almost. So there's no sound on that, but there's a light click that you would hear. Keep in mind, this is just a demo video.

It's a different style of box that we carry as well, but this is the exact same concept, exact same parts as far as how it latches into place. You do get all the hardware included. You get the little Allen key, the four spacer blocks, the four short screws there, and again, those plastic pieces to latch it in place. Now, going over some dimensions, this guy is 30 inches long, 16 inches wide, and it's 10 inches tall. Now as far as the opening and the top and everything here, it's gonna hold a lot of space. So I'm six foot two. You can kind of see how big this is next to me. It's got a divider here in the middle. Now this divider is held in place with hook and loop, so it's got hook and loop on both sides here. And then on the inside there's two different spots here, you can kind of see them here and here, where you could put this in place. So you could do like a halfway and then like a third way, depending on what you want to do. So that gives you some versatility of how much space side to side that you could put inside this guy. Now why I've got it inverted, inside there's a zipper. You simply unzip that. So if you unzip that zipper inside, you could then fold this tote down flat for storage and simply put it in the rear cargo of the vehicle. Or maybe you have the Yakama MOD System already, like we mentioned, and you got our riser legs that are sold separately, and you put them under your MOD Storage System. This could then slide underneath that storage system and you'd be able to store it that way as well. Now, again, setting it up, you simply pop it up, zip the bottom back together, and you've got a nice, sturdy hold there. You got straps on both sides, makes it very easy to carry. Put a divider back in. And once again, you could put pretty much whatever you want to fit in here inside the tote itself.
