Hello neighbors, welcome back. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this gear tote for your Yakima MOD Storage System. Now the modular in-vehicle storage system, or MOD, is set up with drawers, accessories, and it's designed for car campers and overnight enthusiasts in mind. So if you're hauling gear, you want stuff in a nice place, it's not gonna roll around on you and stuff, the MOD storage system, the main system, and these accessories are what you want. Now that main MOD storage system is sold separately.

Now getting to this particular guy that we're looking at today, this cargo tote, it does attach to your Yakima MOD storage system, and it will help you store and organize gear. I've thrown some stuff in here. Everything inside of here is not included, so don't get excited when you want my empty box here. But basically on the front and rear here, getting into it, you've got some tie down points.

Let me zoom in here. So you can see this plastic guy here. This guy matches up with it. So when you've got this installed on your MOD system, this literally hooks in place and keeps it from sliding forward and back and that kind of thing. And then on the other side, you've got this strap, and the strap you can actually take, and you can undo this.

It's hooked in there now, but you can undo that, and you can add this guy to the MOD system. And then you have another loop spot where you could loop this down on the system itself to keep it tight. So you can see here it's got two handles. That makes it very easy to transport your gear in and out of the vehicle. As far as some measurements while I'm zoomed in here, it's 20 inches wide, 16 wide on this side, and then 10 inches tall, top to bottom.

It has a nice limited lifetime warranty as well. Now I've got gear in here like I said. I wanna go ahead and show you the top view here. Give you a little different angle here of what all I got in here. So I have this box, that's my hand, that's how big it is. I've got my little reading material in here, that kind of stuff. I've got the Yakima micro totes. So today we're looking at this cargo big tote, but these are the micro tote package. That's sold separately. That fit in here nice and easy. Zooming back out, I got my reading material. Again, I got this nice box that gives you a size comparison on how big that was. Got my ball for hauling my trailer. And there's my trusty ruler. So again, very nice modular system here. It even has a divider here. Now that divider does come with it. (velcro ripping) And if you can hear it, it's got that hook and loop attachment, (velcro ripping) and that divider can come out. Again, hook and loop on both sides. Now I don't know how well you can see it here with the darkness inside of here, but there are two hook and loop attachments inside of here. So you could technically have this about here, the halfway point, so you have two even sides, or the other hook and loop attachment point makes it about a third or two thirds here rather. So you could do two thirds, one third, whatever. You can move this divider in here, move it around to however you want it. Now another nice feature of this is if you look at the bottom, you kinda see the X on the back. Inside, there's a zipper. (zipper zipping) You simply unzip that, and then this whole guy folds down nice and flat, easy storage. You can put it somewhere in the vehicle, back in the garage, the basement, wherever you store your things. And it's very nice, compact, and keep everything nice and out of the way. So again, setting it up whenever you get to wherever you need to, or you want to use it, simply, again, there's a zipper inside, (zipper zipping) zip it back up, put your divider back in with the hook and loop, and then you can simply put all your gear back inside of your cargo box, and then you're off. So again, very simple, nice design. You get all the hardware there included as well. Again, the two tie down points that attach to the MOD storage and those spacer blocks and screws and the Allen key to install them. Folks, again, it has a nice limited lifetime warranty.
