Hello neighbors and friends, welcome back. I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at these Micro Totes for the Yakima MOD Storage System. Now if you're not familiar, the Yakima MOD Storage System is pretty simple, just a modular in vehicle storage system. It's composed of drawers, some boxes, accessories, and it's gonna be nice, tucked away in your cargo area. Give you some more stability when you're traveling, groceries, you buy something at the store or you're just traveling for vacation, you wanna put stuff in the back and not have it slide around.

The other nice thing about the MOD system is you can take the individual pieces or boxes out and then you could carry your gear inside the house, inside the camper or whatnot when you get back home. So with this particular system, you are gonna get a set of many cargo totes that will maximize the drawer space inside of that Yakima MOD Storage System. Now, keep in mind that storage system is sold separately. Today we're just looking at these six micro totes. Now, they're pretty nice, you know, they mix up, you get three large and three small of these little modular boxes or totes, and they all have a very nice little kind of built-in strap here on the side, if you will, I'll use my ruler here as a demo.

So maybe you, you know, you got this in the cargo box or something, maybe there's something short enough that you could put on there, I don't know. And you know, it would help hold that in place as well. Now this will help you keep your small items organized, make 'em easier to find. They are nice and collapsible. Let me zoom in here and show you that.

So each one of these boxes, both large and small, they have a zipper built inside and you simply unzip that, it's all diagonal, and then you can simply fold 'em down flat. So that makes it pretty nice. They're collapsible, again, even the large ones here, same concept, zipper in the middle. And then you could stack all these together inside the drawer of the MOD System when you're not using them or when you don't need 'em and then that would be tucked outta the way, not taking up too much space. And then you could put a large item in the drawer whenever you need to.

So keep in mind you get three small and three large with this kit. You can buy a couple of these kits depending on how many MOD boxes you have and you wanna fill up. That way you can mix and match large and small, that kind of thing. They're made of a very nice soft wall construction, but yet they're durable and rigid whenever you get that zipped up. So again, a little bit of flex, not too much. Nice, sturdy. Again, a nice hard, I think there's like a plastic material inside the walls here that's gonna give you a nice rigid, you know, they're crush proof, if you will, from the top down. They could take a lot of abuse. Now, as far as some dimension of this guy, on this large one, on the longest side, I was getting 10 and 5/8 inches long. And on both the large box and the small box 'cause of the same size on the width, I was getting 6 and 11/16 inches wide. Same on the highest. Both of them are the same, large and small. I'm getting 3 and 15/16 inches tall. Now folks, this kit does have a limited lifetime warranty, so you don't have to worry about anything in the future. It's gonna be a nice product.
