Hello, neighbors. Welcome back, I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this fridge slide mounting kit for your Yakima MOD HomeBase. And if you're not familiar, the Yakima MOD HomeBase is a simple modular in vehicle storage system. It's made up of drawers, some boxes and that kind of thing to help you store things in and out of the way and in a nice tight organizational type space in the back of your vehicle. Now that kit is sold separately obviously, and again, this is just the fridge slide mounting kit.
Now what this kit's gonna do is gonna let you install a demotic fridge slide. That fridge slide is sold separately, but with this, you can stall it on top of the HomeBase. Now it does work with the large and extra large HomeBase units. Those are sold separately. You can find them at etrailer.com and it can be installed next to a topper on the extra large unit as well.
Now zooming in here, you get four plastic end caps. Those simply push into the end of these rails for a nice, flush fitting design once you get 'em on. And I've got it in there, not super, super tight 'cause we're gonna be boxing this back up, but you get all the hardware here, all the different little blocks here, spacers and whatnot, all the hardware screws, the washers, and of course, the Allen key to put everything together. Now everything here that's metal is a nice sturdy metal. It has a very nice, beautiful powder coat finish on it.
All the plastic end caps are super hard, thick plastic, so you don't have to worry about anything breaking or tearing up or anything. Now as far as the measurement, end to end, when I measured this, I got about 31 and a half inches long, about two inches wide and about three quarter inches tall. Now keep in mind that 31 and a half, that was without the end caps on. Well folks, that's gonna do it for our look today at this fridge slide mounting kit for your Yakima MOD HomeBase.
