What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this extension for the Yakima Major Shady. So this is gonna be adding a privacy wall or an extra add-on awning to the Major Shady. Let's check it out. The awning's gonna be about a little over 11 feet long and a little bit over seven feet tall. So that's what kinda coverage they're gonna give you wherever you go to use it on the awning.

So we may have the same poly cotton material as the awning itself, so it's gonna be light, durable, and weather-resistant. So you don't have to worry about rain bothering you at all, just like you don't have to do it with the Major Shady. It's gonna attach with a zipper, so that makes it pretty easy to get set up quickly when you get to the campsite. Looking down here at the corner, you're gonna have the nylon loop and then this loop here. So if you do stake it in the ground, it's already connected.

You don't have to tie something else up to the add-on. You also have the option to run it out like this to add onto your awning itself to give your more room for more people. Pretty easy to set this up. You wanna pick which side you're gonna put the privacy wall on, and go on any one of these sections. It just zippers in.

We're gonna set ours up here today, so I'm just gonna bring it up here. Find the end of the zipper. Once you get the back seated, the zipper will be a little easier to pull across. Helps to hold the other side up, put the other hand, line that up so you can attach it all the way over here. With it zipped up top, now we'll come down to the bottom.

We're gonna apply our stakes to the ground if we we're outside. We're not gonna be able to do that in our studio today, but that's the next step you take to make sure the wall is secure to the ground so it won't move around on ya. And if you have more than one, you can set that up the same way you did this. Now there is hook and loop on the side, so you can attach 'em so they stick together. Now if you wanna install it for the awning, we're gonna put it up front and give us a little bit more space. Zip it up just like we did on the side, all the way over here. Now we'll come back with the included poles. We're gonna put the ball here through the grommet, pull that on it until snaps into place. Just like you did the set up your awning. Just twist, extend this out, twist it to keep it in place. (indistinct) Then we'll set this side up. Now clearly, we can't set it up. We'll stake it into the ground in our studio today. So I got a second set of hands. Joe's helped me hold the other side, but this is what it'd look like when you get the awing set up. Overall, I think it's a good add-on for the Major Shady, really easy to get set up and get you some more shade, or just some privacy wherever you need it. And the fact that that has the hook and loop on the sides mean you can get a couple of 'em and make the wall a little bit longer. However you wanna customize it, you can. Well, I think that does it.
