Today we're going to take a look at the Yakima fork adapter for bikes with a 12-mm by 100-mm thru-axle forks.Now this convenient adapter will let you transport a 12-mm thru-axle bike on a fork mounted bike rack. This will fit most fork mount bike racks that use a 9-mm quick release skewer. It's very quick and easy installation, there's no additional tools or hardware required. Basically, you just attach this to your rack's 9-mm quick release skewer, and then this portion here will attach to your bike rack.Now we do recommend using a cable lock to prevent theft of your bike, we do sell that separately, it's part number Y07233.Now this part here is a steel construction, has a nice black powder coat finish, which is very durable and rust resistant. Carrying capacity is one bicycle, axle dimensions 12-mm by 100-mm. Give you a few dimensions on the adapter itself.
