Today, we'll be taking a look at the replacement mounting hardware for Westin Sportsman Grille Guard. Now, this is going to be a custom replacement kit for your grill guard that fits the 2014 through 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. We're going to have our driver and passenger side brackets, and then two different sets of hardware to get everything mounted up. See everything in our hardware kit there, including the Allen key. We'll also have our plate nuts and the little plastic retainer clips. So, it should be everything we need to get our grill guard installed if one of our brackets got damaged somewhere along the way or went missing before we had a chance to install it.
Whatever the case may be, we'll get that direct replacement here.So, we'll have our two main brackets. These are going to be facing, more or less, like this if the front of the bracket there is the front of the vehicle. So, these would be going towards the rear of your Chevy, and mount them up something like this. This one here would be the driver's side. They do have a printed label: D for driver, P for passenger side.
Makes it a little bit easier whenever you're matching everything up. And then, our support bracket would match up with the holes there. And then, this bracket would be going further up on our Chevy.It also comes with a new set of instructions on how to get everything installed, with some included pictures, and then we also have an exploded view of how to put everything together, so it makes it a little bit easier to get everything mounted up. This is a fit, again, for your Chevy, but the part number for those grill guards will be 40-3685 or 45-3680. All the surfaces of our brackets are coated with that powder coat to help resist any rust and corrosion and should get you back out on the road enjoying your truck with your grill guard in place.That's going to do it for our look at the replacement mounting hardware for Weston's Sportsman Grille Guard..
