This spanner works much better than the original that came with the trailer valet xl. It doesn’t slip off the engagement points when tightening. It has not worn out or rounded off- very pleased with it.

I was concerned that this tightening tool wouldn’t match the original specs since it only had one grabbing point but I was absolutely wrong. It has great torque and leverage for tightening the etrailer to the hitch and hasn’t worn out at all after repetitive use.1183117

One of those specially tools you need to tighten or loosen a jam ring. If you don’t have it, you have a problem. I purchased 4 of them so I could loose as many as 3 and still be good.1154248
