Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the single 20-inch long add-on step for the Torklift Glowstep kits. Now this add-on step will bolt onto your existing Torklift Glowsteps. It is an aircraft grade aluminum construction. It's very durable and rust proof. Does come with the sturdy stainless steel hinges, and the hardware for installation even has a nice manual here that'll describe how this all goes together.
Now, if you notice on the top of the step right over here it uses glow tape, and that'll create a nice lighted step surface for safely climbing into and out of your camper at night. You can see they adhere right here to the top of the step platform, and they will glow in the dark for up to 10 hours with only about five minutes of light exposure. The size on the step itself, the length, 20 inches long, and that's measuring just the step. So you can see there's your 20-inch long step and the depth of it is right at six inches deep. This part is made in the USA.

The step works great and I can't say enough good things about the customer service team.
Accurate description. Fast shipping, zero problems with every I’ve ordered from etrailer
I ordered the 6 inch wide step. Twice I got an 8 inch wide step in a box labeled as 6 inch and the third time a basement step like on a bumper because a number was inverted by the part puller drop shipped directly from Torklift. All completely on Torklift except then etrailer said they give up. The end.
The hardware didn’t match. My old steps had a shoulder bolts with fiber washers which were slightly larger diameter than the new hardware. Had to resize some holes but it is on and working now.
The Product itself is as expected, it's just another step. Included with the new step are plastic washers when the original GlowStep had metal washers. Time will tell how those hold up. The shipping on the other hand was not up to par. The step was received loose in a box 10 times the required size, with all the hardware rattling around loose in the box. Due to that packaging method, much of the hardware was missing through un-taped box seams. Luckily it's common 1/4-20 stainless which I was able to source at the local hardware store.
Step was a great addition, not to bad to install if you are ok with puzzles. Instructions were so so, but once you dive in, it comes together visually.
