Thule system for replacing lock cylinders is easy and convenient. While I wish you could order various Thule systems with a specific lock/key code - you can't. But, what you can do is order a Change Key and replacement lock cylinders and easily swap them out. I have a Thule bike rack with built in lock, Thule cross bars with locking rail feet, Thule cargo box, etc. and they now all use the same key which is much better than having 3 or 4 different key codes and trying to keep them straight. etrailer delivered what I needed quickly.
My ski racks had no brand indicator on them. I had them for many years but misplaced the keys. On the lock itself was a number, 166, which turned out to match this replacement key, and thus saving me from tossing out the ski racks and buying new ones.
UNBELIEVABLE!!! I bought a great Thule bike rack at a thrift store. Needless to say it didn’t have the key. Looked at the number on the lock, ordered matching number key and I am gravy.
You guys are awesome! If only snap on tools or lowes were this good at getting keys for their products and all the hardware needed. You may be the last co. that goes that extra mile to have pleased customers.
Our other key broke in half and so our rack was stuck on the car until we got this key. It worked perfectly and now our rack is back off the car.
Could not find keys locally and shipping from Thule was too high. Shipping and processing was a bit slow but I was in no hurry so very happy
