SeaSucker ARB Hydraulic Jack Mount - Vacuum Cup Mount

Hello, neighbors, welcome back. I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our SeaSucker hydraulic jack mount. Now this is a vacuum cup mount for your ARB hydraulic jack. Now these portable mounts are gonna let you carry your ARB hydraulic jack wherever you need it by using the four included vacuum cups that will install into metal, glass, or fiberglass in seconds. So you always wanna have a clean, non-porous surface.

I've got this little demo board here today to show you the product. So just make sure it's a clean, smooth surface. Now, it does come with the two jack carriers: all four suction mounts, the hardware to install these onto the carriers. They got little turn knobs here that lock in place or unlock the way you can open that. There's a better view with me out of the way there.

And then that simply closes up and you simply turn the handle to tighten it back down, and then you're ready to go. Now it does come with four included plastic covers, those are gonna cover and protect, heavy duty plastic, they're gonna cover and protect the suction mount here. You get the Allen key, and you're gonna get four sets of nuts, bolts, and screws to install these cups to the holder itself. Now you're also gonna get one extra plunger assembly. This has a little, bitty nozzle here that's gonna let the air in or out.

And the way these work on all four of these that you see here, that orange indicator is gonna tell you whenever these are secure. So when you're pumping this, you wanna keep pumping until you've vacuumed out all the air and then that will turn black, or you just won't see any orange. When you let the air out, you can see that orange indicator pops up again letting you know that it's not completely suctioned. So kind of demoing here for you, let me move this out of the way. So you simply just push down a little bit, and you just simply pump up until all the orange is gone.

And that has then created a vacuum underneath the surface and sucked out all the air. (pump thumping) All right, there we go, so there's no orange showing. Now, that's gonna give you a nice stronghold. It actually has 120 pounds of pull force rating per suction cup. So, total with all of these, you have 480 pounds of pull or strength that you're working with. Now these suction cups are four and a half inches wide. And to remove this suction, once you've got it in place, and you say, "Hey, I'm done, I wanna move this," there's a rubber tab here, and on the backside here, I'll try to show you with one of these that's off, a little better. So again, you got the rubber tab here and one on the backside here. And all you'll simply do is you'll just kind of pull up on that, and that's gonna let the air back underneath the suction cup, and then lets you release it. (suction cup thumping) There you go. And then when you're not using them, again, you got the provided covers, you just simply push them over the cups to keep it clean whenever you're storing it and not using it. Well, they are made in the USA, folks, and they do have a waterproof lubricant that is sold separately, that'll help the plunger not stick and all that, so you can get that waterproof lubricant, sold separately.
