Hello everybody, this is Jeff for etrailer.com. Today we take a look at the SeaSucker vacuum cup recovery mounts for a quantity of three. Now these vacuum cup holders will let you mount your recovery boards or your jack anywhere on your vehicle's roof or side. They'll accommodate multiple mounting configurations, and what's nice is they let you easily move your vacuum cups between vehicles. Does include everything shown here on the table. The three vacuum cups with the lock handles and the protective caps on them.
Gives you a spare vacuum pump kind of gives you a lube, tube lubricant. Also gives you a nice set of instructions that'll describe how these attach and how they operate. The lock knobs you can see right here, these will secure your recovery boards or your jack in place. You can see, you can just unscrew them off there, put your recovery boards or your jack in there. And then just go ahead and put your block knobs back on there and tighten them down to hold it into place.
Now the carrying capacity of two recovery boards are one jack. And what's nice, these are nice, quick, easy installation. They have these three six inch diameter vacuum cups that are attached to your vehicle. The vacuum cups, let me take the protective cap off and you can see these are a thermal plastic vacuum cups, so they won't scratch or venture vehicles surface. Once they're installed, they do have a pull strength rating per cup of about 210 pounds.
Now when you go to install them, you just install them by pressing this pump. And I just want to show you what we're talking about, it won't work on this tabletop 'cause of the paper, but what I'm going to do is zoom back out and show you on this back wall right here. Basically, if you just attach this where you need it and then keep a firm push on it, to give you a seal around there. And then what you do is just start pushing this vacuum pump. And simply by pressing this several times and keep pumping it, it'll put or, give a vacuum in that cup there.
And the way you can tell when it's secure is after you, when you keep pumping it long enough, you'll see that orange stripe, that's on the plunger, disappear like right now, it's no longer showing. So it means you have enough vacuum in there and it makes it harder to push the pump and you can see it secure on there. And again, with a strong pull on it it's not going, nowhere mentioned it has about a 210 pound pull strength. But the nice thing is, is when you want to transfer it to a different vehicle, it doesn't take much to remove it. There's two tabs, one on each side here, all you have to do is pull up on that tab and it'll pop it, release the vacuum pops right off. So it's very simple to install, simple to remove. We mentioned the protective cap, let me zoom back in. Those protective caps are hard plastic, and they just clip onto the cup. And what they do is they prevent the cup from any hardening or cracking while it's being stored, protects it from any damage. Now we did mention it comes with an extra vacuum pump by chance to form these vacuum pumps gets dirty or crowded, or it doesn't work as well. You can replace it with the newer one, but that's why they give you this lubricant, this lube tube lubricant, what's nice about this, it's a waterproof lubricant that you want to ever so often put it on your plunger here and let that lubricant go on there and that'll help lubricate it. Keep any dirt from building up, prevents any internal components from drying out. So you just maintain it with this pump lubricant. These parts are made in the USA. Specs on it, it's quantity of three cups here and they are about six inches in diameter, so the footprint on each cup is six inches by six inches. But that should do it for the review on the SeaSucker vacuum cup recovery mounts for a quantity of three..
