Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a very quick look at the Roadmaster Spartan Tow-Brake Adaptor. This is essentially going to adapt your vehicle's quarter inch air-brake line to a Spartan Tow-Brake quick coupler so that you can tow your vehicle behind your Spartan RV or motor home. The kit is going to include the Spartan adapter and the brass inserts that you need. It is made here in the USA so you can trust it's going to be nice quality and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
So again, giving you peace of mind knowing that Roadmaster stands behind their products. I do want to show you just how easy this is to assemble. So I've pulled out some scrap airline tube from our install bay. So essentially all you're going to have to do is take your compression nut, slide that on, and take your compression sleeve, that's slid on, and then your brass insert.Put that in there. Then you pull these forward and you can simply screw that on.
You will need a 11/16s and half-inch wrench to get that tightened into place. You want to make sure that you get that airline pushed in as far as you can. And that's essentially all there is to it. Once you have that all tightened down, then you can use your airline with your Spartan's Tow-Brake quick coupler. Everything is going to work well together.
It's really very easy to get put together, so if you need that connection, maybe you already have a braking system that's using the air pressure and you've got a new Spartan motor home or something along those lines. This is going to be the part that you need to make sure that you can control the brakes in your vehicle with your Spartan braking system so that as you're traveling down the road, you can rest assured that your vehicle is going to stop. You're not putting all that strain on the Spartan itself. That's going to complete our look at the Roadmaster Spartan Tow-Brake Adapter.
