Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit for towed vehicles. Now, this universal wiring kit is going to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your towed vehicle's lighting system, and this is designed for vehicles where traditional wiring diodes will not work, and it will prevent electrical feedback and the damage it can cause to your towed cars electrical components. And I'm just gonna put a photo on your screen there, just kinda give you an idea of how you can mount these LED strips, and this is going to be a very easy installation. And so, I wanna demonstrate the functions that these lights can perform for you. As you can see, I already have this plugged into my 12 volt power supply, and right now, you're seeing the taillights on and you see just how right they are even with my studio lights on. But I'm gonna go ahead and turn my studio lights off, and again, you can see the brightness, and I'm gonna zoom out there, and again, these are gonna be very visible, especially at night.

And let me go ahead and just show you the functions here, so I'm gonna go ahead first and activate the left turn signal, and so, you can see that there and how bright it is. And then let me switch my connections here and show you the right turn signal. And then, let me go ahead and demonstrate the brakes, making sure I got a good connection here, and then there's your brake lights. So again, they're going to be very bright, very visible. I'm gonna go ahead and turn my lights back on here.

This is made here in the USA, and the LED lights are protected from moisture and dust with an IP68 rating. And this included color coded Y wiring harness is included, and it is going to allow you to reach both sides of your vehicle for easy installation. I wanna give you an overhead look here, and hopefully, you can see this harness just a little bit better here. Let me go ahead and unplug this. So this is going to make wiring this kit all the more easier as you can see here.

And then, I did wanna point out the two plug-and-play flip latch wiring connectors that come with this kit, and they're going to help you to easily connect the 10 inch LED strips here to the wiring harness itself. And so, these are my LED strips here, you've seen it from overhead, and it really does allow for an easy installation using these flip latch wiring connectors. So this kit does include everything that you see here on the table before me, and we've already talked about some of the elements that come here. So again, you're going to get two 10 inch long LED strips, and these are going to mount with the 3M adhesive here on the back. So as long as you have a clean, prepared surface for these to stick onto, again, similar to the picture that I showed you earlier underneath your taillights, these are going to stick very well, and you're not gonna have to worry about it coming off or coming undone, because of those 3M adhesive strips.

And then, the two plug-and-play flip latch wiring connectors that I showed you, of course, our wiring harness, and then, you're going to get the zip ties and the tie mounts that you are going to need to successfully secure the wiring, especially as you are routing this to the front of your vehicle to hook this up to the the signals on your RV. Instructions are also included, and it's a great set of instructions to walk you through step by step through the simple installation process, and this does have a limited lifetime warranty.
