I bought a Long Pole Set for the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning that I installed on a RAM Promaster High Roof van. It was were easy to swap out the regular poles for the long poles. When the poles are retracted for storage of the awning, the fit just like the regular poles.
One thing to be aware of when using the awning on a high roof van is that you will need a ladder to unzip and set up the awning. It is best to do this with 2 people, whereas it is much easier for one person to set up an awning at regular height.
