Today we're going to take a look at the Reese replacement safety chain holder for the Reese Elite series underbed gooseneck trailer hitch. This is the replacement safety chain holder that's designed for use on the Reese Elite series underbed gooseneck hitch. It is a steel construction. It's very strong and durable. It has a nice black powdercoat finish to provide corrosion resistance. Basically what this part is used for, this will drop into the pucks that are on your underbed gooseneck hitch and allow you to hook the safety chains from your gooseneck to them. Basically how it would work is I happen to pull, this is what one of the pucks would look like in your truck bed.
Basically, when you have that Reese underbed gooseneck hitch in your . There will be four of these in your truck bed, so what you'll do is just pop open the cap. That will open it up to the opening there. Then what you'll do is take your safety chain loop and you'll drop this in there and you see as you drop it in there, these will pop up. Just turn it 90 degrees.
This will drop down and when that drops down, it locks it into place. Then you can hook your safety chains to there. When you want to remove it, just pull up on this middle portion, turn it the 90 degrees and it'll come right out of the puck system. Simple as that. Steel safety-chain loop fits Reese Elite Series under-bed gooseneck hitches.I have not tried the product yet but I will say the help is like no other. Rachel helped me when for a senior moment I could not for the life of me remember where I saw the the product on the web site or what it was called.
