Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Pullrite Replacement Base for OEX 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches for your Ford truck. Now this is going to fit your 2010 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks with factory installed towing prep package. And this is going to replace the base on your Pullrite OEX 5th wheel trailer hitch. And as you can see there on your screen, this is going to work with both Super 5th and Superlite hitch heads.

And as you probably know, Pullrite's OEX line of hitches are uniquely designed to give you more options. You just buy one configuration, and if you prefer a different coupling method down the road, you just simply swap out the coupler without the cost of buying a completely new hitch. Now the gross towing weight on this is 25,000 pounds, and the vertical load limit is 6,250 pounds. And this is not going to require any adapters, rails, or tools to install or remove in and out of the bed of your truck. This is going to install and remove quickly and easily.

There's not gonna be any binding, unlike other OE puck systems. This is going to drop into the four receiver pucks that are built into the factory under bed rails, and it's going to secure in place with these top mounted mounting posts. Let me give you an overhead view here, just to give you a demonstration of how this is going to work. So when you're ready to mount this into place, you're just going to move these posts to the open position. You drop it into place, and then you move the post back to the close position.

And that's gonna secure it in place. Giving you another closeup view, as you can see, when I move the handle here, that's going to move that post, so that's gonna let you drop it into place. Then once you have it into place in that puck system, you'll close it, and then just simply replace the bail pin, and you will be good to go. Now this is made here in the USA of American steel, and this is going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion with this black power coat finish. This has been tested to SAE J2638 standards.
