Today we're going to be taking a look at the mounting brackets for Pack'em Lawn Mower Trimmer Racks. These mounting brackets allow you to attach a trimmer rack to your lawn mower. It's going to work with riding and walk-behind mowers. Does come with the installation hardware. These are just going to be your bolts and lock nuts. The brackets are a universal mount, so you can install these in ways that work best for your mower. They're going to be pre-drilled and they bolt onto your mower.
Now, most mower applications will require some drilling. You want to be sure to place these in areas that can support the rack and the weight of the trimmer. Now the arms to actually hold the trimmer are sold separately. We also offer them as a kit with this product. You can find those at etrailer.com. This right here is your top bracket. This could mount on a seat plate, ROPS device, engine deck, or steel fender on the riding mowers.
If mounting on a walk-behind, it could go on the gas tank perch or engine deck, or even the dashboard. The bottom bracket is typically mounted on the top of the deck or belt cover. You can see how they're angled so that way they would extend the arms at an angle in ways that won't interfere with you or the mower. The top bracket is going to allow for the arm to adjust in three different angles that way it gets the angle in the best fit for your mower. The units are made from sturdy, rust resistant steel. They're going to have a gray powder coating finish and a unique hammered pattern that adds a nice rugged look and some style to the unit. Two mounting brackets and installation hardware included.
It's also going to come with some installation instructions. Now to kind of get an idea of how much space this is going to take up at the mounting location, we can just take a measurement of the base plate. Now each base plate measures the same. You can see that plate's going to measure four and a half inches by three and three quarters of an inch.
