Jake: Hey, guys. It's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to use, the replacement strap for your Noco battery box.It's going to look just like the strap that comes with your kit, but you're going to get new anchors and new hardware with it. These straps are going to be available in multiple, different lengths. Just see etrailer. You're going to have the same white stripe design and the polypropylene stitching that the strap is made of as your factory strap.Now this strap is really going to come in handy so you don't have to go and buy a whole new battery box, you can just buy the strap to replace your old warn or torn strap that's on your battery box.
These buckles here are also plastic so on your factory strap they may have a tendency to break or get brittle along with those anchors. With this kit, you're going to get a whole new kit to be able to strap down and keep your battery safe.It's easy to get in place. It's going to install just like your factory strap. Take your strap, put it through both of the loops, and then you go back just through the first one. You should be going over top of one set of teeth and under the other set.
Then you tighten it up, and those teeth should come together, and you get it nice and snug.Now with your new strap in place, your battery's going to be safe to head down the road. With that being said, that's going to do it for our look at the replacement strap for our Noco battery box.

These are decent straps and worth the price, however, the tensioning buckle is a little sloppy and needs to be retightened occasionally. I have owned a few different Noco products and none have failed. me.

I lost the original strap. I thought I could just replace it with an “off the shelf” strap from Walmart, or the hardware store. After looking for some time without any luck, I ordered the exact replacement, and I’m glad I did.

These are not very durable. My original NOCO battery boxes are only 3 years old and the straps are deteriorated to the point they are fraying and tearing. They could be improved by using a better quality, U.V. resistant fabric.

This strap was bought to replace the one that came with the CAMCO battery box that was installed on our TT when we bought it new almost 4 years ago. I was checking the battery and connections recently, and the original strap decomposed while I was attempting to re-secure the battery box top. I just installed this strap, and while it seems to be a bit thinner than the original and required some amount of attention to the buckle's component configuration when tightening to make it retain its position, it fits well and seems to be holding adequately. If I install a 2nd battery box in the future while upgrading to a 2-battery configuration, I will strongly consider getting a few of these to have on hand as future replacements.

- Can the Battery Tray with Strap Be Utilized in a Custom Set-up for 2 Lithium BatteriesThe Battery Tray with Strap # 329-BT27S is compatible with batteries up to 13-1/8" long x 8-5/16" wide. That is meant for 1 battery that size. It will most likely work for your 2 battery set-up, it just may not be perfect since it is a custom application. I do recommend picking up a second Strap for NOCO Battery Box or Tray # 329-HM001 to secure both batteries. The straps will go over the tray from the narrow side so you will want one per battery to secure them.
