Replacement Driver's-Side LED Taillight for Malone LowMax, MicroSport, and MegaSport Trailers

Hello everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com . Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement driver's side LED tail light, for the Malone LowMax MicroSport and MegaSport trailers. Now, this light will replace the driver's side LED tail light on your Malone LowMax MicroSport or MegaSport trailer. I do have this hooked up to some 12-volt power, I'm gonna turn it on, just to show you how bright the light is. This is a square tail light, it offers the tail light function like it is there, it offers the brake light, and then it'll offer the turn signal function, it does also offer on the side here, a side marker light, and since it is a driver's side light, it'll have the license plate light function, at the very bottom, also around the front of the light, it offers a built-in reflector, which will remove the need for a separate reflector on your trailer. What's nice, is these LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights, that last 50 times longer, they are more efficient, they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and there's no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break, and they have a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.

Now this is a submersible LED tail light, and the side marker is DOT approved, uses 12 LEDs on the tail light, and one incandescent bulb on the side marker, the very bottom, it uses four LEDs, it is a nice durable plastic housing, it is sonically sealed, it is a waterproof housing in lens unit, it is submersible, on the very back, you can see it is a, stud mount to the trailer, includes the two studs and the nuts to install it. It is a three-wire design, and as we mentioned, it is DOT compliant, and I do want to turn off the overhead lights, just to show you what it looks like in the dark, so there's your tail light, there's your side marker, there's your license plate lights, and then again, if we hit the brakes, there's your brake light, and then there's your turn signal. We'll go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights, we'll go ahead and turn off our power.
