Today we're going take a look at the replacement switch for the Solara 18 volt Power RV Awning. Now this will replace the switch that's needed to extend or retract your Solara 18 volt Power RV Awning. This will work with the awnings part number, LC729486, LC729505, LC729517, LC730492, LC730510 and the LC730523. All of those will use this type of switch and it is a waterproof toggle switch. You can see to extend or retract you push one way, push the other way. Now it does include the switch itself, has 16 gauge wiring, the plugs on each end.

- How to Wire Replacement Switch for Solera 18V Power RV AwningI took a look around at the Lippert literature but I'm having trouble finding a wiring diagram for the Replacement Switch for Solera 18V Power RV Awning # LC644584. The good news is that these wires are connected to the head so you can just connect them to the wires you found and see if the awning operates correctly. If it retracts when it should extend then you just need to switch the wires to get the correct functions.

This would not affect the batteries ability to charge either.
