Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the InfiniteRule Lock Set. This is to lock your tow bar to your RV so nobody can mess with that tow bar or remove your towed vehicle. So if you happen to step away for a moment from your towed vehicle, or you plan on leaving it overnight, all hooked up together, you don't have to worry about anybody tampering with that. So let's take a closer look at the set and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you. It does come with our three locks, so two of them are going to go on our actual tow bar to attach to our towed vehicle. And the other one is going to attach our tow bar to our hitch on the RV.

So these two go to the tow bar base plate attachment, and this one goes to our hitch attachment.The difference between them is just going to be the diameter of the pin. The slightly thinner ones are going to be for your attachment to your base plate or to your vehicle. And then that slightly sicker one is the one that goes into our hitch. They're all going to be key to like comes with three sets of keys or three keys. So you can have a couple different key chains with these locks on them, or maybe give one to your partner or somebody else that's going to be using that tow bar to get these unlocked.

You do thread the lock in place. So that helps to cinch everything down and keep it nice and tightly secure.And once everything is unthreaded, it comes apart. You can see, we have a square peg, that's going to fit into the square hole on our lock side. So that prevents it from turning inside that cylinder. So no one can unthread this from the other side, if they just try to thread it off like that, it has to be threaded from that key cylinder.

So that's a safety precaution, and then also on the inside there, you can see there's a little grommet that's going to prevent any kind of water or debris from seeping in there and causing issues with that with the threads seizing up. It's a good idea to lubricate those threads every so often with just some machine grease or something like that, just to keep everything working nicely for a long time. The other two blocks are going to operate exactly the same. They are made of a stainless steel construction.So we shouldn't really have too much issue with any rust or corrosion with these guys. You'll notice on the top here of the lock, it has a couple little indentions.

That's going to be the spots to line it up to actually remove the key. Usually if you tighten it all the way down and then back it out just a little bit, that'll allow you to take the key out. Now these are going to be a fit for the Blue Ox tow bars. That's going to have a half inch diameter for the pins. So you're going to be replacing the pins that come with your tow bar and using these instead. So as long as your tow bar and your base plate have that half inch hole diameter, this should be a good fit for you. And the hitch lock works for class three, four, and five hitches.That's going to be two inch hitches and also two and a half inch trailer hitch receivers. The pin diameters, again, half inch and then five eights of an inch, the span or the space in between here, the usable space for our locking pins that go onto our base plate, that's going to be three and an eighth inch, and that's going to be the same for our hitch pin lock three and an eighth inch in between there. They are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. They are made in the USA and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the InfiniteRule Lock Sets.
