I was too quick in writing my first review. The straps were very thick and stiff and would not stretch enough to be used to strap down the bikes. I have never found a use for them. Complete waste of money.

Straps for Hollywood bike rack.
These straps hold up well and I have seen no deterioration over the last year. They are easy to use and I feel that the bike is held securely. I use them without any extra hold down strapping since I mostly take short trips with the bike but they work well on their own. Recommend! 417172

I used these to replace of straps on an older Thule rack that were missing. They did not fit perfectly but worked and after awhile stretched enough that they worked well. An inexpensive fix. In this case square hole worked on round peg. Unfortunately I can not provide pictures as I sold the rack.302216

Needed a replacement strap for an old Saris bike carrier. Saris' website only showed the newest models' parts. etrailer.com had exactly what I wanted; it was easy to find, had a great price and was delivered quickly. Excellent!283237

Shape and size are an exact match to the original Hollywood Racks cradle strap. However the material is a much harder plastic than the original and has comparatively little stretch. The originals are made of a rubbery material if not actual rubber. This strap seems to be made of an inferior plastic that does not stretch as expected.286930

These are all I could find to replace the straps on our old Yakima receiver hitch rack. As mentioned by another customer the material is not as stretchy as the originals but works with enough cursing and pulling and maybe some lube.403685
