Today we're going to take a look at the replacement threaded ring for the Furrion 50 amp plugs and connectors. Now, this is a replacement threaded ring that will fit on the 50 amp Furrion cords and adapters, which we do sell separately on our website. This is constructed of heavy duty marine grade materials, it is an electro-plated zinc alloy construction. But that should do it for the review on the replacement threaded ring for the Furrion 50 amp plugs and connectors.

Used some hand sanitizer to help lubricate the new ring then just twisted it on.
A few finger pounds of pressure and my new metal locking ring went on without a problem. Easy install.

Excellent
Just what I needed to replace broken OEM ring. Being metal I expect it to last a long time.

A year later this Furrion replacement 50 amp plug ring is going strong. So much better than the oem plastic one. Don’t have worry about it breaking!
My husband had zero issue getting this lock ring snapped on to our 50amp cord. We're very satisfied with our purchase of this product.
Works great after a year. Would recomme nd!
This replacement went on easily and looks great.
Plastic ring was missing when I bought a used travel trailer and this worked perfectly to hold the plug in place. No worry about plastic breaking. A little tight getting on but a little dish soap solved that. Extremely happy with purchase.
I had owned my camper about 3 months when the cheap plastic screw cap broke into, I hunted everywhere for a replacement, cause it wasn't making a good connection and we would get shocked from time to time. I found these and actually bought 2 cause I figured they would be cheap and break as well boy was I wrong 1 year in and its still looks as good as the day I installed it. Thanks etrailer.

This product is a must have for camper hook ups. Your plastic ring will break so go ahead and get you a new metal ring and be done with it. Great Product
Used WD-40. Went on fairly easy. Reco mmend!

We are full time rvers and the ring still works great! Highly recommend.
My replacement ring was actually received 2 days prior to the original stated delivery date. It was to replace the original plastic threaded ring, which had cracked. Ring was exactly as advertised. Very well made, and being metal, it should last much longer than the original plastic ring. It was easy to put onto the end of my cord, and fits the connector on the 5th wheel perfectly. It is well made and should last for years.
Easy to place an online order with excellent communication a d fast shipping.
Worked great. Easy install. Way better than the cheap plastic original.
Great, don’t feel I’ll break another ring again
The metal should be standard on all RV power cords. Easy to install and you do not have to worry about it breaking
The ring on my 50-Amp shore power cord broke, and left the plug "internals" handling the heavy weight of the cord. This ring was reasonably easy to slip over the end, so I was concerned that it might not secure the cord very effectively. But it works quite well once it's in place. Much sturdier than the plastic one from another vendor that cost almost twice as much!
Original plastic ring broke after about three years of camping. Was told by serval (big name camping chain) stores/parts suppliers that they did not sell such a product and that I would have to buy a new cord. Found this on etrailer.com. Read the reviews and decided to order one. Used just a touch of liquid soap and the ring snapped on very quickly and easy. With this product designed for marine use it should withstand the elements. Time will tell.
The replacement ring seems to be fine. Etrailer’s delivery time and customer service was very disappointing on this order. I’ll have to be careful if I place another order with them.
Product arrived on time or before, and was as described. Never have had a problem with anything ordered from etrailer - they're a class act!
With a little effort, this slips back on where the plastic one broke. It fits perfectly and has a very secure feel to it. Don't over tighten it, the bulkhead fitting is still plastic, so don't let the metal ring strip out your threads. Hand tight only.
This is a big improvement over the plastic ring that came on my Ferrion 50 amp cord. When the plastic one broke, I ordered this one. I was able to install the new metal ring Over the rubber lip without much trouble. Works great!
They had what I needed and always help with their informative etrailer guides. Quick delivery and courteous service.
Fit perfect and was very well made. Exactly what I needed.
Ring fit as advertised. However, the ring began to show signs of corrosion within a few weeks of exposure to coastal sea air. Material of construction indicated it was suitable for marine environments.

It’s still going strong. A big improvement over the original plastic ring.
