Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Firestone Dual Function Pneumatic Air Spring Control Panel. Now this is a metal Pneumatic Air Spring Control Panel. It is a dual control that'll control two air springs independently, or two pairs equally. It will include everything shown here on the table.
The dual air control panel, two of the 30-foot long airline tubing, one of the 15 foot long 18 gauge wiring. Three of the T-fittings right here, the installation hardware to install it including some cable ties that take up any slack in the wiring or the tubing. And then even a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all goes together and how it operates. Now, the Dual Function on this will provide load leveling control and allows you to inflate and deflate the air springs from inside your vehicle cab. Basically, if you push the switch up on either one of these, it'll inflate the bags and then if you push it down, it'll deflate the bags.
You can see your connections in the back here. It is a pneumatic control panel and it's used in systems that utilize tanks and pull air from the tank. Now a compressor and tanks are required. Those items we do sell separately on our website. As you can see, this panel here is designed to mount to the vehicle dashboard, but it can also be clipped to your visor or kept in the glove box or console.
If you notice, it has the nice white gauge face on it with the dual needles, a black needle, and an orange needle. The overall dimensions on this, if we give you some measurements, the width of it and I'm gonna do the mounting portion up here. It's the widest point. So if we put our ruler, it's five and three quarter inches wide, the height on it, it's gonna be right at two and three quarter inches tall. And again, the application for this part is Air Spring system that'll use tanks.

I love the gauge but someone needs to develop better air line and fitting solution that doesn't leak. Its installed in a complex system which makes it hard to pinpoint the leaks and they seem transient. Yes, I installed it. All the more reason for a better system.
