Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Demco baseplate pull ear covers. It's for a quantity of two. These pull ear covers provide protection for your baseplate ears. The covers will simply snap onto the baseplate when it's not in use to provide protection to the pull ears and give a nice clean look to your towed vehicle.They're constructed of a high-density polyethylene. If you notice on the front, it might be hard to see, but it does have the Demco logo on each cover.Again, this part is for a quantity of two covers. - How to Help Secure the Demco Base Plate Pull Ear Covers Part # DM5899It looks as if you were to drill holes into the tabs on the Demco Base Plate Pull Ear Covers part # DM5899 that you could then align them with the holes on the Demco Base Plate Kit. A bolt with nut or pin with clip could then be used to make sure the covers do not fall off. If this is not something you feel comfortable doing then zip ties would be the next best option though they also would not look the best either.
